Any reason I shouldn’t use Demerara Syrup for any recipe calling for simple syrup?

I do casual tiki drinking at home. I don’t have tons of free time or resources and I’m trying to be economic about how many syrups I need to make/store. Right now I just keep regular 1:1 simple syrup on hand.

Best lazy orgeat recipe?

In my response to my earlier post looking for recommendations on packaged orgeat, I’ve decided to make my own lazy orgeat.

I plan to use sugar, almond milk, rose water, & orange water. Maybe almond extract.

Can anybody share a recipe they recommend that doesn’t require anything other than those ingredients?

Best packaged/store bought Orgeat?

The unfortunate reality is that I’m not going to make my own Orgeat. It’s too much time and effort considering I most likely will not be able to consume it before it goes bad.

Would anybody be able to recommend any packaged/store bought orgeat?

Hot dogs, ham, egg, cheese, onion, and I’ve never been exactly sure what else. Got this from a taco truck in Lehigh Acres, FL

Got the KTC burger with cheese and fries today. $15 for the plate. It’s a good burger, 1/2lb fatty cooked to temp with a classic setup. Bonus points for the outdoor patio with all the jasmine. Felt like small town summer vacation.

Also tried a cup of the smoked duck gumbo and I’ll be picking that up by the quart next time. Also pictured is fried bread & butter pickles and fried green tomatoes with shrimp.
