If I replay the game, is it worth it to change anything?

I played dispatch for the first time in February, and I loved it! I was thinking about playing it again but I've been debating on if I should pick the same choices or not. My first play through (for me personally) was pretty perfect. And I don't really want to change anything. If anything, I'd just want to go back and see if I can beat my original scores on dispatches.

I haven't watched any gameplay and, as far as I can tell, making different choices doesn't really affect the overall story. Everything leads to the same place. Which is perfectly fine! But I'm just curious, with the choices I made the first time, is there anything major I'm missing out on? Or anything anyone would suggest I do differently? I'm not sure how crazy cutscenes and stuff vary depending on choices, or if I'm missing anything completely.

[ I think the only major thing I missed is dinner with Blonde Blazer? Correct me if I'm wrong. But I mainly avoided that route because I'm not very big into romance and it seemed more like a date, and I didn't want to accidently trap myself in a relationship with her by choosing that option. ]

I can FINALLY make Angelic outfits without VIP

It feels like just yesterday people were complaining how the angel theme was nearly impossible to win without VIP (me included) but with the new carnival sets and new toggles, I can give my angelic fits the wings and halo they deserve. F2P peeps have honestly been fed this update imo 🥹✌️

How do I get Herztier's S tier as someone who is f2p?

I have been grinding for Emil's S tier all season. There was week where I couldn't play at all for personal reasons, but besides that I've hit the weekly limit every single time, plus the 100 dice from the previous season. I've spent all my inspos already (but as I play I'll probably get more which I'll spend on his essences). I just want to know if there are ways to get essences quicker than just playing matches. Or somehow a way to grind inspos. I'm really worried I won't be able to get him despite a full season of non-stop grinding.

I'm also really worried about the pity mark. Is it even possible for me to reach 200 (I think) pulls without spending money? I know you don't have to hit pity to get the skin, but my luck in this game has always been horrid. 5 years here and not a single S-tier limited lmao.

I just really want him. I know a few people have said his skin isn't worth it but I love Emil I think the skin looks super cool and I plan on making him one of my mains. If anyone has any advice or tips for me it'll be super appreciated!

Feeling a lil titled about this update

was in a freeplay server and for some reason, loading a saved outfit on the female rig tilted my whole screen sideways, and everytime I got out I was still slightly sideways and was completely stuck a few feet in front of the dressing room

Luckily this didn't occur again when I server hopped, so it was a one time thing. Still kinda funny tho

Idk brochacho just check out my avatar 🙏

Ngl this is one of many avatars but it's my personal favorite. It doesn't have a lot going on but I think it's got enough to not be boring.

Although I was playing a game yesterday and someone came up to me and immediately asked if I was zesty?? 😭😭😭 Ngl it was funny asf and I don't really care about what they said but I gotta know if my fit justified the question.

Dressing up only 1 part of an outfit

It's 2 am, I'm bored, what better way to pass the time than to torture myself with item adjustment?

I never intended to make multiple of these, I just wanted to do the purse at first. But then I had so much fun doing that I decided to do it a few more times! These definitely took a while but I really like how they came out. I mean, not really the shoes. Because let's be honest all I did was layer because I can't really move accessories all the way to my feet lol.

Anyways like I said this was super fun!! If you're ever bored in DTI I would totally recommend jumping into freeplay, picking a random item, and just have fun making it pretty!

First time in master servers!

I FINALLY GOT INTO MASTER SERVERS AHHHH I'M SO HAPPY! I decided to screenshot my first 10 rounds and my placements just for fun. Like 1 or 2 of them are flops sooo ignore whatever you don't like LMAO

  1. Fairytale - 1st Place
  2. Instagram Model - 2nd Place
  3. Dragon Rider - 2nd Place
  4. Meme - 2nd Place
  5. Widow - 1st Place
  6. Gymnastics - 5th Place
  7. Farm life - 4th Place (Why can't we recolor that necklace </3)
  8. Airport outfit - 4th Place (Tied with 2nd & 3rd)
  9. Stargirl/Starboy - 2nd place
  10. Night Luxe - 2nd Place.

First impression of master servers.. . uh, honestly I can't really tell a difference. I don't know if DTI still has the star-range thing, but I would guess so? Because there were outfits that were the prettiest thing I've ever seen, and then I saw people dressing like new models. The first server I was in was really good with outfits and votes, everyone was getting 20-30+ stars. And then as people left and I server hopped the votes and skill level seemed to go down again.

There are notably better players tho! And honestly I can't wait to keep playing and eventually get to servers with higher ranks. I did get stars a lot faster from what I could tell (Having gained 250 by the end of this) so hopefully ranking up will be easier!

Why are wait times getting worse as the season progresses?

[Image unrelated I js thought it was funny]

So I play both survivor and hunter. But this season I decided to focus on survivor because I wanted to try and get my first character badge (my survivor picks are usually all over the place so I've never gotten one before) and at the beginning of the season, it was going great. Usual wait times were like 2-3 minutes, which isn't bad. 5-7 on occasion. But now? I seriously can't get a match in like 10-15 minutes of waiting. And if I do it's BOTS!

It's not just rank either. Duo hunters, quick match, literally every mode is taking forever. I'm considering just giving up on trying to get my badge for survivor and just focus on hunter ranking, because hunter rank times are still just like a millisecond of waiting in comparison.

People have told me to rank up to get better times, and maybe I'm impatient, but it seriously doesn't seem worth it to me to rank anymore if it takes 20 minutes each time. That gets me like 4 matches in total in a rank session. It's bullshit. THEY LAST 2 HOURS MAN!!

I don't know if it's because hunters are quitting because I heard some people say that, or if as the season goes along people are just ranking up faster and we're not getting matched together anymore. Still, might just be a hunter main this season because I really don't wanna deal with how long ts takes.

Am I trans?

Hi. I am F17, as of right now. I've been a cis-girl all my life, I haven't identified as anything else before. But recently I've been thinking that I might be trans? But I'm not too sure.

I've always been interested in being a guy in a way. If that makes sense. I mean since I was a small kid like, 6, I always made myself a boy in games. Or during play pretend or dress up or theatre, I always wanted to play the guy role. And for a while I thought it was just cause I thought boys were cooler than girls or something.

But then as I think about and look back, every single chance I got to not be a girl, I wasn't. I mean for the longest time on social media I always presented as a guy. And even now I shorten my name to something gender neutral and if someone uses He/Him i don't get upset. if anything i feel almost happy? Or excited? I'm not sure how to describe it.

The reason why I'm confused is because this, sudden realization that I might want to be trans just hit me one day. like 'holy shit, I can just BE a guy in real life. It doesn't just have to be my online persona.' And suddenly in every version of my future I can imagine I'm trans. I'm a man people see me as a guy and that's something I look forward too. The clarity of it almost feels off? Like doesn't stuff like this take time to decide? Why am I randomly in my room realizing I want to be a guy?

also I don't feel uncomfortable in my body. I have female parts and, I'm not exactly like YES!! I HAVE BOOBS!!! but I'm also not disgusted with my autonomy. I've kinda assumed that to be trans you have to be uncomfortable in your own skin. And I've been fine as a girl. I like pink stuff and ribbons and dresses and fashion games and purses. girly stuff.

So, a part of me wants to be a guy. Yeah. But I'm also okay with being a girl. Like if someone came up to me right now and said 'you have to stay a girl' I'd maybe be like 'awh man' but I would still live my life happy. probably?

Maybe this whole thing makes it stupidly obvious I'm trans, or something else. I don't know. Something about the whole situation throws me off. I'm not homophobic I swear. It's just that the thought is somehow both exciting and terrifying, I just can't help but think I might be wrong about it. Or something wrong with me.

Made the rivals because why not

Every once in a while my interest in this game peaks again, and everytime I come to check on it’s progress I see a whole bunch of nothin

So I just decided to make the rivals in gacha because I can’t draw to save my life. + Kuu Dere and Midori Gurin because I think it’s dumb how they’re Ayano’s only ‘friends‘ and yet add nothing to the story / game. Can my girls get some love please?

I also started plotting different elimination methods for all the rivals because apparently yandev can’t do that in 100 years so, might also start writing those down until my need for yansim content is satisfied. Sighh why did youtube have to assassinate this game

Where do you draw the line between 'good layering' and 'what am I even looking at?

Before I start I just wanna say I love layering. I do it a lot in a majority of my outfits and I think outfits that use it correctly are stunning.

But, I feel like we're getting to a point. A lot of people in this community layer a lot, and I think I can say it's not uncommon for some us it to be constantly hitting the item limit. But you don't need to layer. You don't need to throw on every dress you see so your outfit as depth or details.

See in the round where this screenshot was from I thought 'oh, she probably just didn't have time to color all that' so I didn't think much of it. . . but then she won podium. And the other two outfits up there were great and on theme so clearly the server knew what we were doing. But come on. That means people looked at this and thought 'wow. that's impressive'. Which is baffling to me.

Lots of layering shouldn't immediately make you consider an outfit to be good or 'pro.' Look at the outfit as a whole and see if what they're wearing actually makes sense. Max items shouldn't = praise.

And PLEASE, if you're joining a server with like, 2-3 minutes left, don't try to be a layering god. You're not gonna finish coloring 9 times out of 10. And you're gonna look a mess, even if the items would've looked good together if you would have finished.

Make sure to check/update your saved outfits!! :)

This isn't that big of a deal to me, but I just noticed that since the bandana was removed from the game for a little bit, apparently the outfits wearing it have been replaced with one of the new accessories. Even though they added the bandana back the old outfits still wear the wrong thing, so just make sure to go back to any outfits that wear it and edit how it looks. Because I was very confused when looking through my fits lol.

[ First picture is when I wore it in Brazil update, second picture was original outfit in Tokyo update ]

I'm not sure if any other items have been replaced like this in the dressing rooms, but maybe still go through your fits to make sure nothing is out of the ordinary

Oh this game is TAUNTING me

I've only spent money on this game twice, because I am a sucker for pretty skins. And with the AI situation I've decided to stop spending money completely, since I've suspected NetEase still uses AI to create their content (aka, generate skin designs and then just get their artist to drop them) and honestly, I've been perfectly okay with not getting echo skins. Even when this skin was announced I thought I'd ignore it.

Then I saw it in game and I am STARSTRUCK. IT'S SO PRETTY AND IT'S ONLY 10 BUCKS!!! I don't even care if I'm not the best at Eli I will PLAY HIM EVERY DAMN DAY IF I COULD GET IT!!

It's like they know. . they know and they're hanging it in front of me like 'look! Pretty skin! Oh, not enough? Look! Massive discount!' I swear every time I load up the game I go to the store just to look at it.

Hopefully this stupid piece of art saves me from temptation.

This place is getting wild

If you don't like to read (and also because I lowk ranted):
This post is about how I feel, as a returning player from a full year ago, that this community is just full of negativity and constant controversy.
+ Apart from that, a personal dilemma wondering if I should put time and effort into creating a channel around this game for college funds when I'm not confident in its ability to stay afloat.

Okay so I wake up and DTI is somehow in even more flames than before. This sucks a lot for me, because

  1. I actually really liked this update and was ready to grind a lot
    and
  2. I've actually been working to start a DTI channel as well this update (which as of now has been put on pause)

But now I'm wondering, is that even worth it? Why is this game always in controversy? Why is the community always so negative even when discussing topics that aren't about stealing or the million other horrible things the devs have done apparently. It seems like every week there's something. Either it be the devs doing something genuinely wrong that deserves to be talked about or it's players blowing problems out of proportion and being ungrateful (IMO!!!!).

I just wanna say I only just came back in the middle of the Tokyo update after quitting summer of 2025, for no reason against the game. So maybe there's some built up anger I don't share with more devoted players. But I've been in a lot of fandoms/communities and ever since coming back I've kind of always been aware of SOME issue unless I only focus on playing the game and not looking at YouTube/reddit/etc.

I'll probably still play the game no matter what, at least until the boycott date to support fellow players who want change. Because I do love DTI!! But I'm really wondering at this point if I should even center a YouTube channel around this game, because as an outside view slowly stepping back in, this game and it's devs are just being constantly dragged by its own players and I have a feeling something's going to blow soon. And honestly, I'm not confident enough in this game now to put 6 months- a years worth of effort into it only for it to implode.

No VIP? No problem

I'm really surprised they made this a VIP item considering I've been making the exact same thing without VIP ever since this dress code came out (I can't remember the name of it lol) It really only takes 2 items and you basically get the same thing. You can also toggle the sleeves to make it less baggy.

I also did a version with the hoodie since that wasn't there before and in case anyone wanted that version

(WARNING: Most shirts clip through the top of this, so I'd suggest wearing tube tops only with this hack, or making it the same/similar colour of the undershirt so the clipping isn't obvious.)

Am I Master Server worthy right now?

Hi everyone! So I'm a trendsetter right now, but I'm at 9,000 stars. Which means I'm only a thousand away from master servers!! I don't own any gamepasses as I am f2p, but I think I know how to make good outfits without them.

But that's just my opinion, and I still have a bit of time before I reach the master server. So here's my most recent saved outfits (that aren't cosplays lol). I would like to know if I seem ready for master servers, or if there's anything I can improve upon! If anyone has any tips or advice for me I'd gladly take it, always aiming to improv :)

(Outfits are also most recent to oldest)

Do you think DTI is pay to win?

Working on a project right now and I want to know from the community. Do you think DTI is pay to win?

I've noticed when watching some of my favorite content creators, all the higher ranks seem to always have game passes. I can't remember the last time I saw a high rank without VIP or Custom makeup or a robux set. And even challenge videos where they try not to use game passes, they still usually keep custom makeup.

Is it just expected for our 'best' players to own game passes? Or can you just not get up there at all without spending a bit of robux.

Just want to clarify, I'm not saying gamepasses are bad to use or a cheat code. I'm just wondering if the community thinks not owning any puts you at a disadvantage when trying to rank up. Intentionally or not.
