Dundon being cheap aside I expected us to be more active this offseason given the need.

It feels like their plan is to sit on these picks and not go all in this season. Which I would be OK with if Dame was younger but feels like we are going to wait his last few good seasons with a mediocre team. He deserves better

London Lions are poised to make history for British basketball as they become the first UK club to square off against an NBA team.

The team has confirmed they’ll play the Portland Trail Blazers in a preseason game at the Moda Center on October 12, 2026, which will start at 1:00 p.m. local time in Portland, which is 9:00 p.m. BST.

“Playing a preseason game against the Portland Trail Blazers is a historic moment for our club and for basketball in the United Kingdom. 

We see this opportunity as a recognition of the progress and ambition of the London Lions organisation, as well as an important milestone for British basketball as a whole”, said Lions general manager Martynas Purlys.

The Lions approach this historic game as the current champions of the Super League Basketball, having secured all domestic trophies last season. Additionally, they are gearing up for their return to the BKT EuroCup in the 2026-27 season.

I like to play 3/5 and the casino I play at the buy in for 3/5 is $300-$1500.

I almost always buy in for between $300 and $500 because 1) I'm poor and 2) I'm a decent long term winning player but I like to buy in smaller because it's less nerve wracking and it limits my options in certain tough situations.

No one has ever complained to me but sometimes I feel like people get annoyed by me buying in small. Most of the guys buy in for the max $1500.

After Tony is shot there is a scene where Tony purposely picks a fight with that dumb as rocks driver. Tony punches him and when the driver gets up to try and hit Tony back the whole squad is saying "don't do it kid" and telling him to back off.

He doesn't back off but Tony blocks him and then kicks his ass. This is considered a reasonable beating and everyone just moves on.

But let's say the driver was successful and actually beat up Tony then what? Are the rules if someone outranks you then you have to let them beat you up? Could Tony tell the guys "ok you gotta kill this guy now"?

I was too young and didn't live in the US when the Sopranos aired but Joey Pants was bald at the time right? What was the point of having the actor wear a wig?

I felt like there was nothing that required that character to have hair. I mean most of these guys were old, overweight, bald and with the exception of Christopher none of them could be male models if they wanted.

Why not just let him have his natural head?

I can't imagine any of the players are going to say anything undiplomatic but have we ever seen it in the past?

I honestly feel compared to almost any other employee basketball players can say what they want with very little fear.

For a while now I've seen people run it twice in certain situations and recently I was at a spot where someone asked them to run it three times?

I get the point is to try and reduce variance but aren't you just eliminating poker at that point?

Why not run it 40 times and everyone gets their exact EV?

Had a window a couple weekends ago where I was sick and couldn't go out and ended up spending an entire day reading the 2+2 threat one kid one dream.

Ended kind of abruptly around 2011. From everything I've been able to gather he still plays poker and is making a living. Has anyone heard from this guy?
