Confusing Shipping

My printer is being shipped to Pennsylvania. What is up with this shipping?!? lol

I don’t think it takes 9 minutes to go from NJ to OH.

Carbon 2 tips and upgrades

My new Century Carbon 2 is being delivered this week. I was interested to get some tips and tricks you would suggest for optimal results. I have experience with basic stuff from my years of using an Ender 3, but this seems to have a lot more capabilities.

Also, are there any upgrades you would recommend me buy and/or print to improve the experience. I know with my Ender, I printed a lot of upgrades!

Thanks for the feedback. Very excited to see what this thing can do.

Elegoo Filament Question

I am planning to get the CC2 in a couple weeks. I saw that their filament is a pretty good price for a 4 pack. That got me thinking about what filament would work best on the CC2. (and of course I have to plan this out before I even get the printer...)

With my current Ender 3, I usually have great results with esun pla+. Are there reasons to think that the elegoo filament would print better on an elegoo printer than other brands? Is the rfid tag anything more than a gimmick?

If the elegoo brand of filament is nothing special, what pla filaments have you found to work best?

new printer

I have been using an Ender 3 Pro for around 7 years and It's about time for me to get a new printer. I would love to get some opinions. On a sort of side note, when I started looking, I noticed a lot of people seem angry with Bamboo Labs. What's that about?

My needs:

Less than $500

I don't plan to do high-temp filaments. I plan to stay with PLA or petg. Are there other reasons to get an enclosure?

I will probably start doing multi-color.

Is a core xy machine significantly better than a bed slinger?

not too loud

I appreciate your insights.

weird layer problem

Ender 3 pro - esun PLA +. I have printed about 50 of these without issue. This one printed and it failed in just one area then continued and the rest was right. The failed layer has a bunch of stringing. Is that under extrusion? Like maybe my spool got caught on something? Is the belt having issues? Thoughts?
