Volvo XC70 whining noise when taking right turns.
I am looking for help in diagnosing a whining noise that my 2007 Volvo XC70 has been making when taking right turns at slower speeds. I have performed the following steps in hopes of fixing the issue, but so far none of them have worked:
- Flushed and replaced power steering fluid.
- Replaced power steering pump.
- Replaced right side CV joint boots and repacked grease due to them having holes.
With the CV joint boots having been damaged, could this have damaged the wheel bearing and be causing the whining noise?
Any help that you could provide before I bring it to a professional mechanic will be greatly appreciated.
