Best Restaurant for Special Occasions?

Surprising my wife with a trip to Oceanside in October and staying at Mission Pacific. What is the best restaurant for a very nice dinner on a Saturday night celebrating a birthday? Neither of us have been to Oceanside and are both major foodies. Love a really good atmosphere when dining as well.

Mission Pacific vs The Seabird

Taking a quick 2 night weekend trip with my fiancé down to Oceanside in early October and choosing to stay at either Mission Pacific Beach Resort or The Seabird. Both look like great properties but wanted to see if there were any major pros and cons of either.

I think I’m leaning towards Mission Pacific as I’ve read Seabird may be catered more towards families. Is that true?

Also - We are traveling in from Oregon and would flying into LAX or flying into SAN be better? Both are priced a pretty similar with LAX being a bit cheaper. Will probably have to rent a car regardless to get to whichever property we choose but wanted to see if there was a definite right answer on where to fly into in order to get to Oceanside. Thanks in advance!

Mission Pacific vs Seabird Properties - Oceanside, CA

Taking a quick 2 night weekend trip with my fiancé down to Oceanside, CA in early October and choosing to stay at either Mission Pacific Beach Resort or The Seabird (booking with points). Both look like great properties but wanted to see if there were any major pros and cons of either.

Rollover 401k Investment Advice

Just moved about 22k from my previous employer 401k to a personal Charles Schwab account with about 16k into a Rollover IRA and 6k into a Roth IRA. Would appreciate some advice on where to invest this money. Does the Rollover IRA money need to be invested differently than the Roth? Can they be invested in the same thing? I'll also be contributing some money from each paycheck at my new job to the Roth account and hopefully maxing that out this year. Just needs to suggestions on where to start the actual investing. Want to keep it pretty simple. I am 25 years old.

Best Hike in/around Breck for group of 12 guys?

Heading to Breck for a bachelor party in a couple weeks and are staying pretty much right on Main St. Only one person in the group has ever been to Breck so we need some advice on what the best hike is around town for a larger group of guys. All decent shape. Something to kill a couple hours during the day on a Friday or Saturday. We have a van so can drive out of town if needed.

Bonus points if it starts/ends near a brewery so can have some beers afterwards. Any ideas that could be fun for a group like this?

Ubers in the Summer

Are Ubers easily accessible at night in the summer months? Going on a bachelor trip and staying over near Broken Compass Brewery so not too far from Main Street but didn’t know if it was hard to find Ubers home from bars later at night during the summer. Have seen things about them being a little spotty during winter months.

White water rafting in late July?

Hitting Breck for a bachelor party in late July and the group is super pumped to go white water rafting but keep seeing things that by the time July comes around, the rivers around Breck are going to be terrible for rafting. Is that true? We haven’t booked yet and don’t want to reserve a large group rafting day if it’s going to be super lame on the river while rafting. Any thoughts here?
