Oits - now staring in 'the doorbell'
Installed a new doorbell today and Otis got top billing on the screen :)

I installed a G6 pro earlier, and it’s been running now plugged in for a couple hours. It is very very warm. Some might say hot to the touch around the sides.
Is this normal?
I believe I currently have it plugged into a POE++ port, as that was the easiest one to get to. Could that have anything to do with it?
EDIT: Solved - it's a heater actually running upon bootup to ... do things, and dry it out (?) and stuff... but should turn off after a few hours. I plugged it in earlier today and went out and did some errands and came back to the warmth hearth on the wall :) should be fine in a few more hours and I'll go confirm.
Looking on Starlink.com at the mini. It says it's available for $199 with activation benefit, but only comes into the cart for $249 + shipping + taxes. What am I missing here that would drop it to $199?
Installed the first G6 Pro today on the house. I had a Cat6 pulled through the wall when we had the siding redone, and another over by the other door for a 2nd install. Screwed the back plate to the wall, connected and installed the G6 on the plate. However, I forgot to pull the other end of the wire out of the attic down to where the Dream Wall is :/ so that's a tomorrow thing, and then it'll fire up!
Our 2020 Solitude 382WB lost the glossy surface in one area within a few weeks it seems. This is not an area where water runs over the surface on the dull side but not the other. No chemicals have been sprayed or applied to it. Has anyone else seen anything like this?
I haven't tried to wax it or anything yet, but wondering if that would even help here...
Hey all. Trying to cut down the pole that holds up the temporary table in our Tiffin Wayfarer. When we had a pole like this before, the rubber caps on the end just popped off. I planned on trying to do that before doing any cutting but... we went shopping today and my MIL and BIL decided to 'help. So now I have a cut pole and, they found out AFTER that the rubber end caps are glued on to this one.
Is there anywhere I can get one of these online so that I can glue a new one onto the new cut end? Dealer is of no use (shock, awe), and Redbay isn't able to help either.
EDIT: Support helped me track it down!

Having a weird issue with my wife's ENO Doublenest. There is a light stripe running through the middle, which looks like some of the UV bleaching my other one has gotten in some spots - but never there. And there is this 'oil' looking stain that just showed up. It's been wrapped up in it's bag for the past 4 weeks since we had it out in OBX and it didn't have anything on it or any spot at that time when I packed it up. Any idea?
Can you wash these things? I've never actually needed to find out :/ We have others so I'm not too bummed about it but this one is her favorite color.
*raises a glass*
Why does no company actually use this design as the base for an RV? Kitchen and living room upfront, bathroom and office and bedroom in the back? Looks like ample room for a nice floor plan to me.
Thanks to all of you who call out the repost and impersonation bot posts! Please keep it up. I've made official rules of the sub now (or at least started), so please use those when reporting the posts. If you have your content reposted and stolen, I apologize - we are seeing an increase in these kinds of things lately. It annoys me 90% of the time, but pains me the other 10% when the repost is about the loss of one of our kiddos. I apologize that I can't preemptively stop it from happening - but I promise to be as quick as I can to remove it when it's reported. ALL offending accounts will be banned permanently, without appeal.
If you're a SpM or SpL and you've decided there is not a step forward here at the firm for yourself - What have you decide is your next step? Where did you end up going to?
Consutants and Senior Consultants are always posting on here about jumping out to other Big4, or even staff in industry (clients). I'm wondering where the technical side of the firm is finding their next greener pasture, especially from the M and SM levels. Are you finding your time and title here have helped put you somewhere higher than you would have otherwise ended up? Or are you just rolling back into IT team leadership and problem solving situations?
For those that left, where did you go?
For those that are still here, where are you looking?
