What is the latest?

What is the latest news/updates with Pudgy Penguins? These things ran to a floor of 30 something ETH and now the floor is under 4. I understand the crypto market took a beating but competitors like Bored Apes have a floor above 8. Honestly asking what’s going on with this, don’t flame me for doing research.

Sales people need to step up

Went to a Mercedes-Benz dealership today just to browse the inventory, and man… some people are struggling in this economy because they choose to.
I walked in fully prepared to sign and drive today, with a budget of $80,000–$100,000 for the right car. I asked a salesperson to show me what they had, and he looked at me like I had just landed from another planet. He genuinely seemed confused that someone wanted to buy a car.

I told him I was interested in the EQE, and instead of trying to help, he launched into a long explanation about how the EQE is no longer in production and that future models will simply have electric versions. The funny part? I had spent at least an hour on their website before going in, browsing EQE inventory, and nowhere did it mention any of that.

Since they had very few EVs in stock, it felt like they just threw in the towel and called it a day.

Brother… help me help you.

Ask me what I’m looking for. Find out what features matter to me. If you don’t have my first choice, show me something comparable that you do have in stock. That’s literally the job.

Whatever happened to hustling? Whatever happened to “always be closing”?

Anyway, just wanted to vent about one of the most disappointing dealership experiences I’ve had. Walking into a showroom ready to spend six figures should never feel like you’re inconveniencing the salesperson.

Failed port, being charged twice for the same line by AT&T and Verizon - help

Finally got AT&T to complete the port, but now I need help figuring out how to seek reimbursement for everything that happened along the way.

According to AT&T’s own employee, the port failure was AT&T’s fault. Because of that, I ended up being billed by both AT&T and Verizon at the same time for several months. From what I’ve been told, this can actually happen because the carriers are tied to the phone’s IMEI and not just the phone number itself.

The port was initiated back in March and remained stuck in a pending status. The account number and port-out PIN were NOT incorrect, AT&T confirmed that for me. The bigger issue is that no one from AT&T ever informed me that the port was pending or had failed, so my Verizon account was never closed out. I only discovered the problem when I unexpectedly received a bill from Verizon in my email.

I even visited an AT&T store for assistance. After spending nearly four 4 at the store, I got absolutely nowhere. No one was able to resolve the issue. Eventually, I got frustrated, was hungry, and left.

Does anyone know who I can contact to get this resolved and pursue reimbursement for the duplicate charges? Please don’t suggest general customer service emails or phone numbers that route overseas. I’ve tried that route multiple times and have had a very difficult time understanding the representatives, which has made an already frustrating situation even harder to resolve.

Door Trim & Baseboards

Looking for someone who does high-quality door trim and baseboard installation.

I had my floors, door trim, and baseboards replaced in February. I’m really happy with how the floors turned out, but some areas of the trim and baseboards were done a little sloppy. I’m looking to have the trim and baseboards redone properly.

Main thing I’m looking for is attention to detail, especially someone who knows how to properly cope interior corners instead of just doing quick miter cuts.

Any recommendations are appreciated.

Is it just me, or do some people with kids act like they’re the only ones dealing with real problems? News flash, having kids doesn’t give you a monopoly on stress. I hear it constantly from my sisters things like “you’ll understand when you have kids,” “I’m exhausted solving problems all day,” or “must be nice to do X, Y, Z.” And it’s every single day.

What gets me is the assumption that because I don’t have kids, I can’t possibly understand or empathize which I actually do, often. Life is hard in different ways for everyone, kids or not. It’s not a competition.

At this point, I’m just worn out by the narrative. Anyone else run into this, or is it just me?
