I really enjoy the aesthetic of the album cover background blur so I'm glad they brought it back.

Trintellix made my heart go haywire

24M. My personal experience with this drug wasn't great. I started at the minimum dose and eventually went up to 10mg.

Over the course of 3 months I have had daily palpitations, including random occurrences of my heart pounding and/or racing for no reason. I could be doing dishes, taking a shower, or even laying down or sitting at a desk and it would "flare up" and cause me anxiety. I felt like there was something majorly wrong with my heart but chalked it up to dehydration, poor sleep, or poor diet.

I wore a heart monitor for a few days and the cardiologist assured me everything was normal (even with the palpitations captured). I explicitly asked if trintellix could cause such symptoms and the doctor literally googled trintellix and read the first ai-generated result for symptoms which didn't include any of mine (like I wouldn't have searched that myself already lmao).

With guidance from my family doctor I stopped taking it a few days ago and almost immediately stopped experiencing all symptoms.

It's a shame because I did feel mentally well on it, but the anxiety that came with the constant heart symptoms was not a balanced trade-off.

Curious if anyone else has experienced the same?

Red Seal BC & Alberta Machinists: What kind of work are you doing?

Hello all, I am looking for information specifically from people who work or have worked in these areas as a machinist.

I am currently in Ontario as a CNC Machinist and am planning on relocating to Calgary or Vancouver to live and work.

I'd love to ask some questions regarding the type of work you do and your work environment.

I don't understand what's going on. This past month I have been getting palpitations alongside episodes where my heart will feel like it's beating heavily but with a normal heart rate. I can be laying in bed, studying, at work, driving, it doesn't matter- it just comes on and lasts 30 minutes to a couple hours.

I don't notice my heartbeat otherwise. Every time it happens I'm like "here we go again" and my anxiety spikes because I feel like I'm about to die which must be enhancing the sensation. It's so distracting. It's all I can think about when it's happening.

Anyone else??
