Contam'd tub with a ton of underside pinning

I had a syringe from years ago with a tiny bit of left-over liquid and thought I'd give it a go. Grain spawn stage went great. Transferred it over to a tub with coco coir. It colonized well, but before any fruiting began, I noticed some trich. I know the consensus it to just scrap any tubs with contam, but since it's my only tub and I probably wont grow anything for the next few years, I thought I'd see what I can get from it regardless. Low expectations. Just an experiment.

The patch of trich has obviously been spreading and it's now about 1/4th of the topside of the tub. The non-contam'd parts have very minimal fruiting. About six small shrooms starting to grow. I concluded the low amt of fruits was from the contam.

Then I decided to look at the bottom of the tub (the tub is clear and has no lining, so I don't know why I hadn't done this before) and to my surprise I found it's covered in pins and some medium sized fruits growing. Covered like a carpet. No coco coir or contam visible, just a sea of baby shrooms. So it seems like the trich has won the battle on the topside of the tub, but the shrooms are thriving on the underside.

Do I leave things as they are and allow the underside to fruit against the tub floor/walls with no where to go? Or do I pick whatever's up top, and flip the whole cake to give the underside a better chance to grow without running into walls? I'm fine with just having a single flush. I'm just concerned that if I flip it, I'll stress the shrooms that are already used to the microenvironment of the underside and they might all abort. But I'm also concerned that letting them grow squished against the walls might stunt them. I'm not concerned with contaminating my environment with trich at this point. This is likely my last grow in a while, and in this apartment. What do?

Banned, then unbanned without an explanation. Anyone else?

Starting about two weeks ago, I started randomly getting "your request has been blocked" when I tried to browse the site. It would go away, then happen again. No clear cause.

Then my account got suspended and I was asked to verify my email and reset my password to clear the suspension. I did that.

A few hours after reactivation, it got banned. No message stating the reason. I appealed the ban and got an automated reply saying they'd reviewed my case and that my account wouldn't be reactivated, and that I should become acquainted with reddit's rules.

I thought it was a lost cause, but then I started getting tons of notifications from a post I made and I realized my account had been unbanned. No message or explanation either.

Is there a bug on reddit going around causing people's accounts to be incorrectly suspended or banned? I saw a lot of posts here about account suspensions recently and was wondering if there's been an uptick recently.

Dos Batos $10 taco

Inspired by the Veracruz post and people complaining about $6 tacos. I bring you the $10 (9.99 + tax and tips so probably more) pirata from Dos Batos!

No banana for scale unfortunately, but yes you're seeing that right. It's a regular small flour tortilla, with skimpy steak portions, a single slice of avocado, and cheese.

I found a post of this same taco on this sub from 3 months ago, when it was $1 cheaper and it had more steak. So in 3 months they've increased the price by $1 and reduced portion size.

I actually lol'd when I unpacked my taco. The audacity to charge so much for that. Flavor was ok. Nothing amazing, just ok. Salsa was watery as hell. At least they included chips I guess?

Edit: People are correctly pointing out it's officially listed as $8.20 on their online menu (still ridiculous). It's $9.99 for me through their default web based, pick up ordering option. I cleared my cookies and local storage and it went down to $8.20, so there's definitely some sort of dynamic pricing going on. Looks like I've been identified and targeted as someone who will overpay for tacos lmao.

This is contam isn't it?

At first I thought I was seeing pinning since it's white, but upon closer look it just looks like a suspucious white patch with a different texture than the mycelium.

This white patch looks way thicker and solid. Not fluffy at all.

Sorry bout the shit pic. Best I could do without opening up the container.

Edit: cracked it open a took a better pic https://i.imgur.com/SwMxR33.jpeg

Best options for a Mexican phone number?

I'm not exactly an expat, but I figured y'all would have the best knowledge around this.

I'm a Mexican citizen that's been in the US (permanent resident) for basically my entire adult life. I want to start spending some more time in Mexico and maybe earning income there but I moved out of Mexico when I was quite young, so I don't have any of the necessary ducks in order (RFC, constancia, bank account, efirma, INE, etc) I basically have no presence in Mexico other than having a Mexican passport, family, and having a history of growing up there.

I've started looking into scheduling appointments with SAT and banks and realized I need a Mexican number for pretty much everything. Understandably, no one is letting me use my American number.

Would it be best and safest to just get a dedicated physical Mexican phone that I just use while I'm there? Or are there alternatives that allow me to have a virtual Mexican number on my American phone? Thanks!

How noob friendly is Generals Online nowadays?

Is everyone playing veterans who know all the strats or can I find genuine noobs?

I just came back after decades of not playing, and I suck. A bit intimidated about playing online. Just talking about skill level. I don't care about toxicity and whatnot I imagine that's somewhat inevitable in any online game.

I'm impressed Paulo Miyao is running half marathons

Posts of his running side quests have been popping up on my feed. I thought him and bro had no knee ligaments left in tact. Genuinely impressed, and surprised, to see him racing. I thought I recalled videos of them hobbling around when just walking.

Day 25 - finally sleeping well but feel worse emotionally

I quit a 15gpd habit of 5 years CT 25 days ago. I got over the classic physical symptoms, the only remaining one was my sleep being shit and an elevated resting heart rate. My mood and motivation weren't great, but weren't absent either. There was some semblance of dopamine. I was still able to force myself to workout, grocery shop, go to work, etc.

The last three nights something changed. I finally slept amazing, 8.5hours. Resting heart rate finally down too. But it seems like with good sleep, my emotions and motivation took a nose dive. I can barely work. I'm a programmer, and my brain just doesn't want to think. I called in sick these last two days because I just can't get out of bed. I've been rotting and doomscrolling. I feel empty and sad.

And I feel fine physically. I don't feel unwell. I'm not physically unable to get out of bed. It's definitely all mental. It feels like I don't even have enough dopamine to stand up.

Has anyone been through this? Why do I feel so much worse (mentally) as I'm finally starting to sleep well? I guess this is PAWS. It's just really confusing that it started as soon as I started sleeping better.
