exhaust removal 450srs

guys help. 😭😭😭

HOW and WHAT are u guys using to unscrew and remove the headers on the 450srs?!? It's a one piece pipe from the muffler all the way to the headers and is built differently to the American SS and standard SR.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to access the inner 2 screws of the headers.

Pls help I have a full system to install

Helmet Options

Hey guys! I currently have a Scorpion R1 Onyx Air in forged carbon. It's my only helmet. It's quite boxy and I'm not a very big fan of the shape of the helmet now that I've been using it everyday.

I'm not sure if this is normal but I find turning my head quite difficult as the cheek/lower chin side keeps hitting my shoulder, causing me to need to lift my head over the shoulder, making headchecks take longer than they should.

I'd like to start looking to change my helmet, and I'd like to treat myself to a really nice one. I love the way the race helmets look, and so I've decided that's the type of helmet I want to stick with.

What I don't want, is an R10 or a Pista. Can't stand them. Just super mainstream and don't hear good stuff about 'em.

What are some recommendations from the other brands? Like Shark, Shoei, or KYT. Are there any brands you pulled the trigger on and ended up being happy with? For example Nex helmets, or LS2.

Just looking to get something good. As we all know, with gear you get what you pay for, and I don't skimp on my gear.

P.S - I am fully aware a race-style helmet is unnecessary. I don't care. I love the way they look and If I'm going to spend money to protect myself, I may aswell buy something I feel cool in, and like.

Thanks in advance to those of you who share your thoughts!

I'm Unhappy

I'm not sure I'm happy with my bike.

I bought a CFMOTO 450SR S as my first bike. On paper it’s great.. but ever since I was a kid, the bikes I dreamed about were always inline engines bikes. Mainly the CBR650R. I always imagined my first bike being something with that bigger bike feel and especially that inline sound.

For some reason though, when it came time to actually buy a bike, I went with the cfmoto instead. It's not even about the CCs. If ZX4rs were LAMS here I 100% would've gotten one.

My issue is I wasn't even thinking about the honda at the time I was purchasing the 450srs.

Now every time I ride, I keep thinking about how much happier I probably would’ve been had I gotten an inline. Not because of speed or ego or wanting a litre bike or anything like that. It’s honestly more about the character and feeling of the bike itself.

Like if someone offered me a straight swap for a CBR650R or ZX4R right now, I’d do it instantly.

The weird thing is I still like my bike. I don’t hate it at all. I just feel disconnected from it because deep down it’s not the type of bike I actually wanted all these years.

Has anyone else experienced this? Buying the sensible first bike, then realising your heart was always set on something completely different? What do I do? Please help..

Hi, I recently installed a tail tidy and kept the stock indicators. I had to unplug and reconnect a few small wires for the license plate light. Since the install, my front mirror indicator lights stay on constantly. They show a solid yellow light, but they still blink normally when I activate the indicators.

I have already unplugged and reconnected the wiring under the seat, but the issue is still there. Any ideas on what could be causing this or how to fix it?

Thanks
