I just want to extract more performance from my laptop as it’s sluggish on windows and can’t get windows 11 and i don’t like microsoft. I usually browse on edge and use the notion app plus an emulator for an android app and some light gaming on old game roms.
My own research led me to settle on cachyos so i could learn a lot along the way and diy it because thats a fun activity for me and i like learning. Is this a good choice and am I good to go if I use btrfs and make sure firewall is the first thing I set up? Will I always be able to go back to a snapshot/checkpoint?
Also not like super necessary but could I run warframe if I got cachyos? It would lag and give 18fps every time I tried. Laptop has run skyrim/falloutnv smoothly
27M, saw an older post here with the same idea. I struggle with staying motivated past a few hours so if anyone wants to get some deep work done together lmk! I’m free to come weekends and some weekdays and work ideally till close. Personally I either study for some exams I have or get some other work done but you can bring whatever it is you’d like to get done.
Also open to other libraries dt! I was enjoying working at john m kelly but it closes at 4:30 now instead of 11:30 :/
