I can never get my Tech LC loaded right

HVAC tech here and I always struggle with the compartments in this bag. I’ve had it for a few years and keep switching between this and a more open bag that my tools mostly just get thrown into. Any advice?

Capacitor blown out

This is by far the worst capacitor blow out I’ve ever seen. Also check out the melted pecker head cover!

Do people often not get your sense of humor?

I swear sometimes my sense of humor is just for me. I’ll say something that is funny to me… and of course I say it straight faced with no smile… sometimes my comment will just be too obscure for nearly anyone to get. If someone asks what I mean by that I usually just say it’s a joke but don’t offer to explain it unless they ask.

How do you guys organize/store your cordless tools in your van?

I keep trying to find a better way. It seems like every time I’m trying to find something it’s so hard to get to… like a compressor is in the way or I haven’t had a chance to clean my van lately.

Do any of you guys use the Navac probes with the digital read out?

I use the Fieldpiece ones every day with MeasureQuick and they are great. But I’m wondering if the Navac ones are just as good because I think it would be a bonus not to have to take off your gloves and open up your phone to get the readings. I’d love some input.

Just finished The Stand… next?

I love dystopian books (there should be a flare for dystopian IMHO).
I’ve read 1984, Handmaids Tale, Logan’s Run, 11/22/63 and some others that aren’t coming to mind I’m sure. I was thinking about starting the Dark Tower series next any other suggestions?

R 290 question. I’m an HVAC tech for a large school district and we just got our first R290 unit installed. Are you guys working on a lot of these? What are your safety concerns?

So I have a Fieldpiece scale that has the Bluetooth Joblink feature and it works great in the Fieldpiece app but I prefer to use MeasureQuick. I tried to add the scale into my MQ tool kit but it doesn’t seem to find it. Am I missing something?
