Himeji and Azuchi Corrupted Castle?

I believe I have never seen Corrupted Castle event in these 2 castles, yet AI tells me:

I finished main story but some side quests are undone, not sure if I must clear all side quests?

I play with the same setup used for normal difficulty but chance I can entangle an enemy is much less, it seems:

- Armored enemies are harder to be entangled than weak ones

- Entangling an enemy on his frontline is harder than on his back/flank

- When enemies are staggered (e.g when bleed affliction reach 100% in video), they are easy to be entangled

Is there any tip to improve the entanglement chance?

He seems related to Awaji story so I can't kill him yet. This is during "A Long Lost Key" quest (retrieve key to the Sword regalia), I haven't dig up the key.
