KDEs "built in" HDR profile looks extremely washed out, fixable by important a HDR profile but any HDR profile i used (maybe not meant for HDR? heavily clips colors, second image, makes gradients just become full color too fast), and again, builtin profile doesnt do this but is crazy washed out

monitor is AOC Q27H3XMN, HDR enabled with \"built in\" profile, red looks washed out at the end of spectrum

here i switched to a ICC profile mid test, here the red actually isnt washed out but the whole spectrum is too compressed which clips colors, maybe cause the ICC profile isnt meant to be used with HDR? not sure- i just want to use my monitor in HDR mode to make use of local dimming AND the full monitor brightness potential, but so far everything is either desatured or colors clip no matter what i try

builtin (more color accurate version visible in OBS on the right

with ICC profile, this looks suuuper nice but if you watch anything that has actual gradients, or just close bright/dark colors it just clips them

showing this, both colors just look like pure white on the screen
