I made a resource pack that turns chests into anime waifus.

I'm going to be combining a couple of my mods into one mod for cosmetic armor and decorative items. Think of it like a decor mod but for characters, I guess. I want ideas, and I always loved those posts about "give me anything and I'll draw it", so that's what I'm going to do, except it'll be a fully modeled and rendered armor piece that YOU can use. Only rules:

-no nsfw (obviously)

-has to be something that can fit neatly as one armor piece/item. I'll do a full set if I REALLY REALLY like your idea though.

-I can't do any kind of fancy effects, I'm bad at coding lol. So temper your expectations.

-LMK if you want credit for your ideas, and what you'd like me to put in the credits. Otherwise I'll just put it in.

I'm making this post a little bit before going to bed, so any ideas you drop I'll be working on tomorrow(and likely over the next couple days, knowing my pace of work). But I'll show you a screenshot when I'm done with the model.

This is probably going to get either no attention or I'm about to be very, VERY busy.

EDIT:since the latter option seems likely, please only suggest one thing at a time, and make sure it's just one armor piece (slash item! I already have a cup of coffee lol). like a helmet, shirt, pants, etc. however, I will do my best to honor as many requests as possible.

EDIT TWO: please make sure your idea is COSMETIC ONLY and is NOT A FULL SET. i mean you can still suggest full sets but im probably just gonna do the part i find coolest, at least for now.

EDIT THREE: while i greatly appreciate any suggestions, i will just say that i generally prefer making up designs over recreating existing stuff. something like “cool flaming knight hat” works. though, i don’t mind recreations either, so long as you’re okay with a little artistic flair on my part.

EDIT FOUR: just because i got a LOT more suggestions than i’ve expected and it’s barely been two hours, im going to be tweaking the rules a little for my own sanity: IF YOU SUGGEST SOMETHING FROM A GAME/MOVIE, I AM GOING TO BE DOING MY OWN VERSION RATHER THAN A ONE TO ONE RECREATION. this is also partially because a bunch of mods exist for costumes already, and i want to do something unique and fun! but i will try to capture the spirit as best i can. anyways im going to bed now, but feel free to keep em coming!

I watched this video showing off Modular Routers and then saw these pipes. They look EXTREMELY useful, knowing that hoppers are limited for some reason. What is this mod? I need it!

i'm beating a deadhorse with AI slop as a topic but lately, a bunch of these "misleading title and icon" slop modpacks has been appearing on curseforge. some of these are made by accounts that are barely 2 days old. has anyone investigated these kind of packs? AI modpacks are usually just low quality kitchen sink and that's it. but these felt especially malicious due to how their presentation and potential for misleading people who don't know any better. wanted to post this on the mainsub but since the mods there are... those kind of people, i chose not to.

Well at least I have actually played the game without rage quitting for three days. The photos are just the list of ideas for the mod pack that I have, and I know I won't implement.

Maybe the Corn Smut I shall, after all I already made an item via KubeJS, I just need to know how to program it the same as a poisoned potato.

tl;dr: Some more progress, another tech demo, etc. etc.

I miss Thaumcraft; I love Ars Nouveau, Spell Engine, Irons, Electroblobs, Ars Magicka, Blood Magic... the list could go on forever. I LOVE MAGIC IN MINECRAFT

I've been modding for a little over two years, I want to commit to a large/forever project that I can maintain on the side, separately from my main work. and I've reached a point where I feel like I can do just about anything.

Wands or Gauntlets? Staves, scepters? I have the "aura" (chunk based vis) system in place and an unused data component for storing vis/aspects on the casting tool, not sure if I want to commit to either yet tbh)

A note to anyone that finds this and wants to get into modding: dare to dream! Anything is possible.

Okay serious, who the fuck makes a modding api AND DOESN'T GODDAMN DOCUMENT IT? kaupenjoe's tutorials are outdated, everything I've learned about java has only confused me more, and I can't even look at other mods for help because they're all ridiculously complicated or mcreator slop, OR JUST DON'T HAVE A GITHUB, THANKS GUYS. jesus fucking CHRIST this hobby drives me nuts sometimes. and by sometimes I do in fact mean all the times. god forbid a girl try to make a mod for the ancient primordial soup that is 1.20.1 instead of porting over my entire goddamn modpack just so little timmy can use trial chambers. Maybe I just need to get better at java in general?? but I only want to add fairly basic mobs and the like, not some crazy full overhaul mod, and that should NOT be this complicated. and that doesn't change the fact that FORGE, THE ONLY GODDAMN MODDING API, ISN'T FUCKING DOCUMENTED FOR ZERO DISTINGUISHABLE REASON???? yeah I get this is free and all but don't you have the slightest dreg of pride in your work or sense of community with you fellow modders. I'm actually three steps and a sneeze from turning to the dark arts (mcr*ator) just because of what an awful fucking process this is. I just wanna add a skinless corpse that jumpscares you sometimes, this is NOT that big a request.
