Do weapon attachments just not need levels anymore?

In payday 3 I can buy any weapon attachment I want even though my gun isnt the appropriate level, is this a change they made and I just dont realize?

Im surprised more people dont hate John for this

So at the end of the story, we get to kill Micah, and "avenge" arthur. Only... John wasnt avenging arthur.

In the post credits scene for the epilogue, we see the first red dead games story being set up, because we see the Pinkertons actually figure out where Beechers hope is (ill put the images from the post credits scenes at the bottom) It can be inferred that after their investigation they did on Micahs death up in the mountains (which we can also see post credits) they found out where John was specifically because he got too loud and went for micah. And yk what? He is an awful, irredeemably selfish man for that.

I know we all love John, but his decision to go back for micah was selfish, and arthur wouldve called him a fool..arthur didnt care about revenge, not even for micah, and his final wish for John was to "not look back" and him looking back for micah was against what arthur wouldve wanted for him.

He ignored his sobbing wife to go on a revenge mission that, while he made it out of, it left sadie with a knife in the gut and Charles with a bullet, and it is the biggest factor as to how John got discovered. Do I think Arthur cared about stopping Micah from hurting anyone else? Yes, absolutely. At the detriment of John's family though? No. John gave up everything for micah, and for what? Micah was getting old, his life wouldve caught up eventually, if not John, someone else wouldve got him.

So, John actually devalued arthurs sacrifice completely by going back for micah, and while it absolutely sucked to see, he got exactly what was coming to him in red dead 1. He went back, he should not have went back.

Is there any kind of guarantee that he wouldve got away clean? No, but his chances were way better without killing micah in the picture

To better explain my point, I used to dress like Adam sandler (basketball shorts and Hawaiian shirts mostly) so I wore some pretty wacky outfits, this was all last year. I got made fun of quite a bit, nothing serious as it all came from good friends who I actually knew. But being made fun of kinda threw me off a bit when I brought up that its how adam sandler dresses too, they went "well thats just his style, he is famous youre not" sooo adam sandler can wear weird outfits because he is famous but I cant dress how I wanna because im not?

Another example is Israel "IZ" Kamakawiwole (i think i spelt that right) he was a very popular hawaiian musician in the 80s and 90s. Great guy, but he was very very large. And I find it odd that it was never a topic of discussion amongst his fans. And if his weight was discussed, it was in a brief moment and the energy around it was all "poor guy, the pressure and stress really got him" but for anyone else as heavy as he was, they wouldve been pointed at as lazy or irresponsible for letting their body get out of control.

All of this is to say, there is such a double standard here famous people get to do whatever they want? Makes me mad
