I am getting my butt kicked. Im surviving, but the enemies are hitting hard, and taking 1/3-1/2 my health per attack. I didnt have much issues under Gerard other than the boss at the canal.

The three quests I have open are Securing the Mine, Corsair's Dilemma, and A Problem with Succession

I've started each, but felt like it was going to be tough to keep going so went to see if another would be easier, no luck. All three seem about the same

Maybe it's my party composition, right now my emperor is a Monk, I have a mage, ranger, mercenary and an infantry I believe. I could have two of the same of merc or infantry (they each specialize in something different), I dont remember.

Before as Gerard I had a heavy and maybe that is what I need, but I wanted to try without.

I also have access to vagabond class. Any tips or suggestions?

Im low on AoE attacks, I have emperor's holy spell, and then one from ranger, and that is it. I know I can't just grind as that can back fire. Im going to play around with party comp, I may abdicate, I wanted to unlock Monk and had to do it this way as I didnt listen and killed the enemy in the cave during the Monk quest.

Most of my gear seems to be as good as I can buy, Im currently researching a couple better weapons, but they arent ready yet.

I finished the 5th and final book and I am in utter love. It is now one of my favorites.

I think there will be a huge overlap of people enjoying this if they enjoy at least one of the following: A Song of Ice and Fire, Dragonbone Chair, or First Law.

The series is heavily political with a little bit of magic sprinkled about. There is a religious war going on in the main continent, a schism within one of the religions and a ship being sent west to find a mysterious continent of legend, and the plot grows and evolves from there.

The series is a fast read, each book is about 300 pages. Kearney's prose reminds of David Gemmell in that no word is wasted, and a lot is said in few words.

The characters are great and a diverse cast. Even the unlikable characters are interesting, and I enjoy reading their POVs. They are well developed, maybe not as developed in much larger series, but it's impressive how well I feel I know these characters in so few pages. And no character is safe.

The battle scenes are well thought out. Kearney clearly did research, they had me on edge reading them, and I'm not normally someone who likes battle scenes.

I cannot recommend this series enough. I have a few small nit picks, but that will be the case with any series.

If you're an audiobook person, I dont one exists at all, but they're fast and easy reads. If you need something to scratch the need for politics, war, and strong characters, this series will likely do it.

I think there is a good sized overlap of those who liked Pentiment and those who will enjoy this game.

Picked it up when it was given away for free on Steam. You play through as Sir Brante through his whole life, from birth to death. Decisions have consequences increasing or decreasing certain stats. Pure visual novel/choose your own adventure. I'm vibing with it. I'm early into my adult life and decisions I made as a kid still have impact, either skills/beliefs or new opportunities with certain characters based on past decisions.

I could see a lot of replay value with different paths (Commoner, Nobel, Clergy or Lotless). I'm going more Nobel, but to do good. I've stood up to people that got me in trouble in order to help those in lesser positions.

Religion is interesting here, it takes place in fictional world where there is some magic. Setting is inspired by per-revolution France. And one of the stats you have to keep track of is Willpower. You can raise it from decisions but not always, and it will keep you from being able to do something you want to do once in a while. Religion/magic also allows people to die a couple times if it's not a "true" death which means you werent destined to die yet or you run out of resurrections. I think you can have a max of 3 non-true deaths. I've already died twice!

Recommend it. There are some tough choices and a few characters I've grown attached to.

Would it be okay if I moved it temporarily, about 15 feet to the ground, close to the house behind something that will keep the wind from hitting it?

It would be in line if site from where the nest is currently

It's on a strong hook and may be okay as there's a thick column between it and where the wind normally comes from but wanted to ask in case the wind is too much

I didn't catch the type of bird as it flew away

I'm sure the answer is just leave it no matter what, but wanted to be prepared

Went in to resupply my Ale 8 and saw this deal. The 12 packs are $12 (which at this point must be greed given what Aldi can sell their cola at and that they're giving away 3 12 packs), but saw the deal and picked up 5 12 packs of Ale 8.

Dont know what they are called, but the spinning gear looking things with a spike on them, is it possible to burrow under them and not get hurt? Is my timing just shit or do they damage you even when you burrow under them?

When I go to a shop it says X bonestones will cover the rest. Is there a downside to doing this? Is the only reason to convert would be to give to NPCs who arent shops?

When I try to offer a recruit more NIL than I did initially, the amount they currently have makes them disappointed and I have to jack up my initial offer a lot to get them happy

Is this by design or is this a bug?

Played a neutral site game, I was the visiting team. The team I was playing was ranked 9th (ish) and I was 24 I think. Starting out I had the shaky kicking meter and it seemed to feel like playing an away game.

Is this normal for neutral site games where the "home" team gets home field advantage, or was it more because I was not at home and was playing a team ranked about 15 spots above me?
