Help finding this story

Hi! So I've been trying to find this fanfiction I read a while ago, but I only remember one scene... I know I'm asking for a lot, but just in case someone here knows which story I'm talking about... It'd be amazing!

I assume it must have been a Severitus story, but I'll admit I'm not 100% sure. Snape centric at the very minimum. Either on Ao3 or FFN, as I only read on these two websites.

The scene I remember is that Snape goes to Privet Drive to pick up Petunia and Dudley (and Harry is here also). They all get into the car, and Snape drives. I remember that Petunia is worried about him being the one to drive, and I think he jokes about not remembering where the brakes are or something like that.

I know it's very little to go off of, but I'm giving it a try anyway! Thanks!

Font changes from Windows to iPad

I've been using Scrivener for a bit more than a year on my PC, and I recently decided to download it on my iPad too. I did all the syncing with dropbox, and everything works fine, except for one thing...

The font on my iPad app defaults to Courrier Prime, while the font I use on my PC is Palatino Linotype. Everytime I work on a document on my iPad, close the app, and later open it on my PC, the document's font has been changed to Courrier.

Yes, I've set the default font on iPad as Palatino, I've also manually changed it, but no matter what I do it keeps going back to Courrier on the iPad everytime I open the app again, and it's driving me crazy!

Is there anything else I could try? Thanks

How to write grief

Hi!

I reached a point in my story where a character dies, and I have to write everything that happens after that, which include this character's friends grieving.

The character who died is an eleven year old child, and his two friends are the same age. They hadn't known each other for that long, since the beginning of the school year roughly four months prior, but they were still pretty close.

I'm not sure how to write a pre-teen handle his closest friend's death.

For context, the character that I'll mostly be focusing on (one of the mains, though what I'm saying goes for both friends of the one who died), is a child who had a good childhood, and has never lost anyone before.

However, he did see his friend's dead body for a few seconds. Not maimed or mutilated or anything like that (let's call it a magic instant death), and not from very close up, but still.

Of course it'd depend on each character's personality, but if you guys have any general ideas or resources where I could find help I'd be really grateful!

Physical Portfolio

Heya!

I'm an illustrator and I've been wanting to make myself a physical portfolio, to go to artist conventions and be able to show what I do without pulling out my phone, but I'm not sure what to go for.

I don't want to make an actual artbook with my art printed on the pages, I want something where I can move the pieces around and add/remove them as needed over time. So, something like a binder, or those portfolios with the plastic sleeves in it (English isn't my first language and I can't find the right words, sorry!) that we had at school.

The thing is that all the ones ai could find, well... they definitely all have that "just finished high school vibes", and I'd really want something that looks more adult and polished.

So I guess my question is... for those of you who have physical portfolios, what do you use?
