Putting together a list of knitting techniques to make videos of, would appreciate some input

Hello knitters! I recently started a knitting podcast on the ytube and it was suggested to me that I should make some tutorial style videos as well. I’ve been working on a list of some techniques to make videos of, and I wanted to ask what you all thought. What would you add? Is there anything you would remove? Would videos like this even be of interest to you? I am a continental knitter so the tutorials would be continental. Here’s what I’ve got so far:

- Brioche (one color flat, one color in the round, two color flat and in the round, increases and decreases)

- Increases and Decreases (things like M1L/R, k2tog, basically anything you might come across in a standard lace pattern)

- Basic Cables (both with and without a cable needle)

- Raglan Increases (both flat and in the round)

- Shadow Wrap Short Rows

- German Short Rows

- German Twisted CO

- Invisible Join in the Round

- Icelandic BO

- I-Cord BO

- Tensioning for Continental Knitting

- Adjusting Tension for Continental Knitters

I don’t usually work with novelty yarns, but I love this one so much I’m designing a vest for it

Hello everyone! I’m looking for between 5-8 more knitters to test this shawl. There is no compensation, but you will of course receive the pattern free. If you’re interested, here’s the details:

Test knit begins May 1st and ends May 29th (end date has some wiggle room if that’s not enough time). It’s a quick, easy knit. I knit mine in about a week and a half, so hopefully that should be plenty of time

The three yarns I used are:

Barnyard Knits Merino Nylon Fingering (178y total needed)

Dream in Color Smooshy with Cashmere (220y total needed)

Cedar House Yarns Sapling Sock (213y total needed)

I am open to you using any three fingering weight yarns that allow you to meet gauge

Needles:

US 4 (3.5mm) and US 6 (4.00mm)

Requirements

Must have an active Instagram and/or Ravelry account

Must post on Instagram at least once and/or post your project on Ravelry

Multiple pictures would be great, but I only require one photo of the finished shawl

If you’re interested DM me and if you’re chosen I’ll be letting you know by Monday at the latest. The pattern will be sent through Slack and there will be a group chat there as well
