A somewhat controversial opinion about something related to The Loud House.

In my opinion, the more serious a theory is, the easier it is to refute.

Do you agree? Disagree?

Could the "Lucha Fever" episode be "No Such Luck" if done right?

These two episodes, despite having different plots, are quite similar, as both involve an 11-year-old child lying about having something to avoid going to a family event, and the lesson of both episodes is practically the same: you shouldn't lie to avoid being with your family, because family is more important than... reading comic books in your underwear or watching TV.

But if the two episodes are similar, why is one hated and the other... acceptable?

Simple, because "Lucha Fever" was much less exaggerated than "No Such Luck," just observe.

What does Ronnie Anne do to convince her family? Makeup, acting, and altering a thermometer.

What did Lincoln do to convince his family? Saying: Hey, guys, I'm unlucky.

What makes Ronnie Anne regret what she did? Seeing Rosa sad because she couldn't go to her son Carlos's event because she was taking care of her.

What makes Lincoln regret what he did? He was kicked out of family activities, his room, and even his house (remembering that he is, or was, 11 years old).

Did Ronnie Anne have a good ending? Yes, she regretted what she did, took Rosa to the event, Rosa forgave her, and everything was fine.

Did Lincoln have a good ending? No, because even though his plan worked, he had to spend the rest of his life in a squirrel costume because his family thought it brought good luck (not to mention that he found out his furniture had been sold).

I would say that the reason "Lucha Fever" is more bearable than "No Such Luck" is because it's less absurd; you can actually imagine it happening, no character is out of their mind or smartless, and even though Ronnie Anne did something bad, the episode understands that what she did wasn't so serious and teaches her a lesson in a way that matches what she did.

Therefore, I'd like to conclude by sharing something I learned from this comparison: sometimes, it's not the lesson of the episode that's bad, but rather the way it's presented.

I don't understand anyone who thinks the series was better before.

I understand some people missing the siblings having adventures together, when there were 0 fictional elements, or... the siblings having adventures together, but aside from that, how on earth do you think the show was better back then?

Lincoln's sisters were super one-dimensional and their lives revolved around Lincoln, which consequently meant he had to deal with the problems they caused.

Not to mention Clyde, who was in love with Lori, which is a bit strange considering Clyde was 11 and Lori was 17, although I know technically there's nothing wrong with that since Lori is still a minor. The biggest problem was Bobby, who was Lori's boyfriend, AND MY GOD, HOW CLYDE HATED BOBBY! Seriously, he swore up and down that one day Lori would break up with Bobby and date him (he even created a code for it, the green code) and he always wanted the worst for Bobby, even though poor Bobby hadn't done anything to him.

Of course, there are older episodes that are good and recent ones that are bad, but I can't convince myself that The Loud House used to be better.

Pepa's Paradox

Imagine if Pepa doesn't like the heat, then it will get cold, then Pepa will be happy, then it will get hot, then Pepa will get annoyed, then it will get cold, then Pepa will be happy, then it will get hot, then Pepa will get annoyed, then it will get cold, then Pepa will be happy, then it will get hot, then Pepa will get annoyed, ah, you understood.

Enfim, eu fui a babaca ?

How do Madrigals make money?

I remember an image (which, if I'm not mistaken, is from an official Encanto book) where some characters were going to the popsicle cart, and it made me wonder, how do the Madrigals earn money?

I mean, from what I understand, their job is to help the village with their gifts, and for free, not to mention that there are 12 people living in one house, so of course it's going to end up costing more.

I even understand some things, like, fruits and vegetables can be planted, or at least someone knows how to sew, but what about other things?

I could mention Julieta, for example, who makes arepas to heal people, and one of the ingredients to make them is milk, which could only be obtained for free if her family had a cow... but that's the thing, the Madrigals don't have a cow, so she would have to buy it from someone who does... but with what money?

Okay, maybe the villagers give things to the Madrigals for free as thanks for their gifts, and that would be pretty cool, but there are things I don't think that could be the explanation, like energy, unless people give money to the Madrigals as thanks, which would be quite interesting.
