I thought maybe what if vampirism is actually done through bodily fluids kissing biting sexual activities etc that results in infection within one week you become more sensitive to sunlight after five weeks you have severe sunburn due to the infection after one mouth your canines fall out and eventually after a year they get replaced by longer vampire canines you can still eat and drink regular food and drinks just blood is on the menu as well as your digestive system is also altered but if caught early can be stopped altogether by spending time in the sunlight the warmer and sunnier the better but certain strains can be immune to sunlight but other more advanced strains can change your body in more than one way
