Centerpoint Gas Houston Sucks

Been on vacation. With no notice Centerpoint gas in Houston decided to change my meter without notice. Thought we forgot to pay the gas bill. They locked my gas valve off. Having this problem before I cut the lock off and turned on the gas. Went to light hot water heater and no gas. I have a valve to run my generator. No gas. New meter must only turn on when Centerpoint hits a button online.
What assholes. They will only turn it back on with you promising you will be home all day 8 hours and you have to be over 18. My wife and I work. My daughter is 18. No way I want her to let some gas person in our house. What kind of customer service is this? Hopefully they can’t do this with electricity.

Best Sugar to Raise Low Sugar

When you need to raise your sugar what do you use? I’m a general superintendent and on the road a lot in Texas heat. Right package size and the heat doesn’t hurt them. What is you go to?

2nd what are some advantages of being TD1? Not really advantages but something you are allowed to do? For me

  1. Get all procedures and blood work early morning because I can’t. Get up need to eat early.
  2. This is an odd one. Working on some classified facilities and because my phone is for medical purposes I’m allowed to bring it in and use it for work.

So I bought 50 acres in South Texas. The property was 200 acres total. My agent told me to make an offer on the piece I wanted. I picked the piece that had power far off the road. It also has two wells on it.
The neighbor that bought next to me brought in a dozer, skid steer and tractor and told me to use them when I needed to. I gave him an easement for power.
The orginal property is asking me to allow an easement for power for the 50 acres behind me. I asked my next door neighbor could we grant an easement along our fence line to the section on the back. He said no way because if we do that they will build right on the property line. They do have options to get power in the back but it would be expensive.

I agree with the my neighbor. Is that bad? Really don’t want my back neighbor right behind me.
