Kitbashed some old cavalry to be wearing the new armour to match the rest of my force

Each one is a combination of a cavalry mount from the vanguard cavalry set, with a rider from the Vigilors (archers) set. The riders had to be disarticulated and re-sculpted to get them to fit onto the mounts, and a lot of robes had to be carefully reshaped and hands needed to be pinned. I feel like I've done a good job of it overall though.

Each mount paint scheme is loosely based off of a bird that visits my garden: magpies, dunnocks, and european robins 🙂

They also continue my experimentation with mixed finishes, as they're mostly matte, but have a few satin and gloss areas to make the eyes shine and the claws look sharp!

The bases are scratch made in the style of all my Stormcast bases, with some purple flowers to provide a nice complementary colour that doesn't draw the eye too much from the figure itself.

What level of lying (including lies of exaggeration, omission, or any other form of knowingly not conveying the truth as I understand it) do I need to start considering in CV writing/job applications?

Hi, autistic person here. I have been attempting to apply for jobs by providing what I believe to be accurate assessments of my skills and abilities. This is partly because of my background (previous roles always had a strong emphasis on personal pride being less important than accurate reporting, especially where data generation, sample integrity, or safety was involved), and partly because I dislike dishonesty in general, and thought that the kind of workplace I want to work for would prefer candidates who tried to be truthful from the get-go. However, I have not been offered a single interview with this approach, suggesting my approach is incorrect.

Advice I've seen online heavily suggests lying. As much as I dislike it, I have been unemployed for a while now, and must consider it if it will help me find work. What is less clear is what level of lying is recommended?

Is there a way to paint Aztecs with different reflectivities, but still unify decals smoothly with the surface (which I've only seen done by applying and softly sanding a layer of varnish over the top)?

Hello! I'm wanting to try painting an Aztec pattern on a ship (using masks and an airbrush) with slightly different reflectivities for the different hues, to make the pattern more visually interesting as you look at it from different angles. However, I also want to apply decals to the model, which often need to be smoothed with the surface afterwards by applying a layer of varnish on top. This would of course give all of the Aztec pattern underneath the same shininess as the varnish, and even if I didn't use the varnish, the decals themselves would have a slight reflectivity that would be different from the Aztec pattern. Is there a way to maintain the reflectivities of the Aztec pattern and still use decals?

Minmus Monument City, took three refuelling flights (two in low Kerbin orbit, one in low Minmus orbit) but I got it to land safely!
