I have lived here for 41 years in September (two years in Odessa) i also have a hobby as an artist (9 years in August) does anyone know how i can get experience in interior painting? Ive applied at sherwin Williams, home depot, lowes and ace hardware but because i only have retail experience, i don't usually get a call back. What else can i do?

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

PS i have a friend who own a painting business but the foreman only wants men painters, is this normal?
