There’s a high chance I might be permanently moving to Midland.
I am currently pregnant, coming from Houston where docs/hospitals are in every corner this is really weighing on me.

I’ve looked at the doctors available and they all m to have a mix of reviews. Any OB doctors yall could recommend to me?

Also the giving birth situation, I’ve seen there’s a lot of debacle over which hospital is better.
Which one would yall recommend either in Midland or Odessa?

So my grandma passed away last year but in high school she got me the laptop that I loved but it got so slow I had to replace it, recently I found it again and I would love to use it to draw again but it's still slow after trying a factory reset. Is there anyone or anywhere around here I can take it to get it looked at. I got it in 2017 and I just want to draw on it again with out lag.

F150 needs a wheel alignment soon, any good shop recommendations would be appreciated.

10-year Army veteran and experienced mechanic looking for oilfield work in Texas.

My brother is a very good mechanic with 10 years in the Army. His military background includes work as a light-wheel mechanic, wrecker operator, and welder, with hands-on experience maintaining and repairing Humvees, 5-tons, and other general-purpose military vehicles and equipment.

He learns new equipment quickly, works hard, stays sober, does not use drugs, and is willing to work long hours, overtime, West Texas rotations, and stay in a man camp or company housing for extended periods. He is open to diesel, heavy equipment, fleet, field service, frac, pump, or other oilfield mechanic work.

The barrier is that he has a recent Texas felony sexual-assault case that resulted in deferred adjudication/probation. He has no other criminal history, has been compliant with everything required of him, and his supervision is willing to work with him regarding employment and extended work rotations.

Because TWIC may be an issue right now, we are mainly looking for land-based mechanic work that does not require TWIC.

He is not looking for sympathy or a handout. He needs a solid paycheck, wants to get out of debt, and is trying to get back on track.

If anyone owns a shop, supervises mechanics, or knows a company in Midland/Odessa, the Permian Basin, or elsewhere in Texas that would be willing to talk to him, please comment or DM me.
