New to Midland and will be here for a short while. Would love to meet people and connect and see where it takes us
I don’t have kids but I want to chill at a pool or chill in the water. Any recommendations?
Hey! I’m hoping to find some people who’d like to meet up for some casual jam sessions. I’ve played guitar for a while and am working on bass now. Far, far from an expert on either but wanting to improve!
I’m 27, grew up in Midland, came back for work after graduation, and now don’t know anyone! So this is also me trying to have a social life lol
And while we’re at it: anyone know a good location to practice? Was wondering if Midland College or somewhere has practice rooms.
Thanks!
Hi so I have a 2020 Mitsubishi Mirage with a busted tail light on the driver side. I've tried checking out a few junkyards or part places and they didn't have anything, the one place that said they had 2 told me to dig through all the tail lights myself to find it and if I couldn't find it to either bring my dad, who died when I was 8, or if he finds it he'd charge me double. I'm trying to replace it as soon as possible cause I can't afford a ticket on top of the repair so if anyone knows where I can find one that would be amazing. I've looked online a couple of times and couldn't find one for less than $150 or would get here within 2 weeks.
West Texas is quietly turning into the center of the AI boom. Massive AI data centers are being planned in places like Pecos County, Abilene, Odessa/Ector County and surrounding parts of the Permian Basin. One project in Pecos County alone could use more electricity than some major cities. We’re talking private power plants, endless transmission lines, massive water demand and industrial expansion across land that was ranches and oilfield just years ago.
People think these are just server buildings. They’re not. They’re industrial-scale AI factories running 24/7 and consuming city-sized amounts of power and water in areas already dealing with drought, grid concerns and infrastructure strain.
Looking for someone who can cut my yard in the city of odessa
Go to their Facebook page and all you see is petty theft videos from HEB and other stores.
My employee and store got robbed, we called 911, and I SWEAR TO GOD they said they couldn't send anybody out cause "NOTHING HAPPENED".
Didn't ask for video, pictures, statements, nothing.
But stealing a steal from HEB will land you on the main page and they'll send the entire force out for this.
Fuck OPD.
The job market sucks bad in this area unless you work in the gas and oil industry. I’ve worked with animals the past 8 years & it’s hard stepping my foot into any other type of career in this town when no one wants to hire with no experience, you are suppose to hire so I can get the experience!😭 Im totally just ranting - but seriously who’s hiring
Just curious about the Bushman Foundation. I know they’ve been pledging donations for ECISD and a few other things, but does anyone know if they have like a foundation/charity to fund individual people i.e. education?
Also, if yall work for ICA. How’s the pay/benefits? Lol
TYIA.
When did Arby's close on 385 (Andrews hwy) in slowdeatha?
Heyyy everyone! Does anyone know of a place in the area that can replace a zipper on some leather doc marten platform boots? I saw a place called I think "Ruben's boot repair" or something but all of the reviews are for cowboy boots, not the type I have. If not them, any suggestions? These are my everyday shoes and I hate throwing stuff away that could just be fixed. Ive been through so much with my boots. They're a part of me. We've trauma bonded 🤣 I don't want new ones, I want these ones repaired 😅 Thanks in advance!
This may be a reach, but have any retailers broken street date release for the new Dungeon Crawler Carl book? I was going to check Barnes and Noble after work today, but I was curious if anyone knew.
