Who is drinking the Coffee in Middle Earth? Is it the Elves? Is it the Dwarves? ......

Honestly now I can't even remember if tea is ever mentioned by Tolkien but it is for sure Coffee is never mentioned. Tea seams more plausible since Middle Earth is so English. But when I think of Hobbits I just KNOW they would love Coffee in the morning. But maybe the Elves are keeping it a secret to themselves? OR is Coffee a Mordor thing?

Famous film critic Rex Reed has died, do kids on the internet even know who he was? I don't think he had been active for quite a while but at one time he was a big deal. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rex_Reed

I was surprised that I only learned of it through wikipedia, the broadcast media he once held a high place in appears to have overlooked his passing? I myself was not a fan, due to his bitchy vindictive style, which you can see illuminated a little more in his wikipedia page.

Saw the Matisse The Pursuit of Harmony show at Acquavella gallery on 79th street around the corner from the Met Museum in Manhattan. WHAT a great show!

Newb here, first stick and tissue build. I want a silver finish for this static build. If I put the silkspan on, it shrinks and tightens and is smooth, but my experience with paints suggests that if I then apply any liquid to this surface it is going to expand and sag again. I imagine I will need to prime then spray or brush on a silver paint of one kind or another, but how will this affect the tightness of the silkspan? I am also considering a metallic shiny adhesive tape. I have followed some plastic aircraft kit builds that use Bare-metal foil, but I feel this won't work on tissue? I also wonder if you can use spray stick on grocery store aluminum foil to stick foil to a stick and tissue model? I would be grateful for any thoughts you guys have on this issue.

I read up on pruning roses and learned pruning should have happened soon after winter's end. These have buds on them already. What to do?
