Eldrich heroes get racial transformations?

After beating Evermore, I went back to look at the non-Merlin heroes I unlocked. Floating right there was Nekron, the lichborne Eldrich. I have not played an Eldrich yet, as I am totally addicted to vampires and champions (a non-vampire playable unit). They can get racial transformations??? Or is it just a major transformation? I might start one tonight, but if they can't get minor transformations, then I probably won't. Thank you in advance for your wisdom.

Justin Appleseed

Hey guys! My name is Justin Appleseed, and I am a second-generation cider maker from central Minnesota. I started making apple wine about a year ago when my dad retired, and I have become totally infatuated with it. I have 4, 1-gallon fermenters (currently), and there is always something bubbling in my kitchen.

I have been experimenting with different fruit additions, yeast types, and sugars. My first picture is raspberry apple (left), then apple with brown sugar (middle), then apple with corn sugar (left). The following picture is the raspberry apple (my favorite) with honey, then back sweetened which ended up carbonating. My best batch by far. All apples are handpicked from my dad's orchard, diced (removing bruises) and juiced.

Does anybody else here make cider or wine? I am curious what you make it out of. I more or less just want to chat with other fermentologists about processes. I could always use a google machine, but machines don't have tastebuds, so their opinion is irrelevant.

Weird User Interface Bug?

Odd yellow coloration

I noticed this when playing last night and have been trying to figure out what is going on. Normally, that center circle is all the way red. Its coloration has shifted to black and yellow. Then my opponents began behaving in a very odd manner.

First, I keep getting pop-ups with opposing factions asking for a "Wizard's Bond". Enemy free cities have become green rather than red. It should be noted that infestations still behave in a similar way to how they always have, so I don't think I broke every mechanic of the game.

What is going on here? It's almost as if the rulers around me no longer wish to wage war. Without the war part, the game is totally unplayable. It's just dialogue. If I wanted to read, I would have picked up a book. What is the resolution? Has anyone else encountered this bug before?

A couple changes I made when making the lobby is I switched "Chosen Destroyers" for "Chosen Uniters". I also switched "Umbral Disciples" for "Silver Tongued". Could this be the cause? Should I delete the save and play the game correctly? Please help!

Story mode heroes

When the vampire expansion came out, I played all the missions of the vampire story line. At the end I won, and all of the main vampires popped into my pantheon. I deleted them wondering what happened. If you could please, answer me these questions three:

If I play the mission again, will they be re-inserted into my pantheon?

Does that mean if I beat the mission with Merlin and his owls, will Merlin appear in my pantheon?

Does this mean there are many heroes I have missed by not playing all the story missions?

Thank you for your time and consideration.

New Ruler Class - Mythic Reign

Kicker of asses, taker of names

Here is my new ruler class idea. This is from a comment I left on another’s post. It’s called “Mythic Reign”. The idea is derived from a playthrough I had and subsequent ass kicking I received. I don’t know the trigger of this, but a reaper unit ended up taking over a shadow kingdom and went on a warpath through my empire, slaughtering my people. I was sitting there thinking “I want to do that…”. Thus, here is my proposal and the extent of thought I have put into it:

This would be a society trait you would select during faction creation. It would be at the bottom with the Visions that were recently added. During your playthrough, upon drafting or summoning a mythic unit, and upon meeting certain conditions such as winning battles or striking the killing blow on another hero or ruler, a dialog cutscene would commence with 3 options: “Maintain the throne” – your ruler would maintain control of the faction. “Share authority” – that mythic would become a hero under the control of your ruler. “Abdicate” – that mythic would usurp the throne and take control of your empire.

Honestly, I would prefer more depth to this. I would like it to be something the player would feel more immersed in rather than just a single option tree. Maybe, the mythic would slowly gather a following. After victories in battle, random dialogue trees would trigger eluding to a cult of followers of the mythic that you could either suppress (city stability losses) or allow (city stability bonuses). These could be different for each affinity, but I don’t know how deep I would like to go with this assuming my idea is destined to be lost on Reddit.

The goal here would be to avoid this feeling like a ruler skin, and more like a totally different playstyle (such as vampires compared to dragons). Each affinity, based on the mythic’s affiliation, would have “Dynasty Traits”. Something like a Phoenix would gain stability or a resource from lava provinces, versus a reaper utilizing souls in a different way. The horned god would have benefits from forest provinces and specialize in animal armies.

Handling the previous ruler could also be more than just removing them. Maybe there would be an option to have them become a hero, potentially just switching places with the mythic. Maybe they could defect and take control of a nearby or hostile free city. They could also be cast into seclusion or the astral sea. Just ideas, but in my mind Mythic Ascension should feel like an immersive playstyle like the vampires darkening the land around them and converting their heros into vampires as well.

I love the feeling of pulling my ruler from a previous play through, rather than selecting it from the faction creation screen. It would be a totally unique experience compared to every other current ruler class. Admittedly, there would be limited customization of the ruler, but instead the ruler itself is the customization. Please let me know what you guys think! I probably put more thought into this than would be warranted, but I love writing and this idea has been a fun little adventure for me.

What are your stories?

Justinian, the dark prince

I don't know if anyone is as nerdy as me, but some nights I spend writing a story and then make a faction based off it. I would like to read your stories if you have written any. This is the story of Nocthraea.

"Queen Denise gave us life, King David gave us purpose, and Emperor Justinian protects their legacy."

Prologue:

Justinian Veythar had been a prince then. He was ordered by the king to manage security for one of the many trade caravans headed south. It was supposed to be a simple assignment, a gesture of solidarity from the royal family to protect the merchants who fed Nocthraea’s prosperity. The moon that night was absent. The kind of moon that hides its face when something wicked walks the earth.

The attack came without warning. One moment the caravan creaked along the road, lanterns swaying gently. The next, the world erupted into screams. Shadows peeled themselves from the tree line. Vampires, pale as frost and twice as merciless, descended upon the guards. Steel flashed. Blood sprayed. Horses reared and toppled.

Justinian fought like a man who believed courage alone could defy death. He cut down three of the creatures before one seized him by the throat and dragged him into the dark. The prince’s sword fell from his hand. His vision blurred. Fangs pierced his flesh, and cold venom surged through his veins.

He remembered only fragments after that. Distant, and almost incoherent, memories. Hands pulling him free, the sensation of being carried, the distant echo of someone shouting his name. Then the darkness swallowed him. From there, his memory was blank. He was brought back to the castle, barely breathing. The royal physicians could not explain his symptoms, nor why his wounds closed so quickly. From there, Justinian lived in seclusion.

An entire wing of the royal castle sank into complete darkness. The people whispered of the death of the prince. The king, nor the queen, spoke of the accident. In taverns, people gossiped on the fate of their kingdom, and the crowned prince's death. Would the neighboring kingdoms see an aging king and assume weakness? Would Nocthraea finally be conquered?

I can keep posting if you guys are interested. I hope some of you find the time to read, and any input in valued. I have 28 pages of this. I can keep going. The actual story picks up with Justinian having ruled the kingdom of Nocthraea (Noc-th-ray-uh) for a century. I go into the logistics of the mountain kingdom, and a lot of what I've written is inspired by the Aztec culture. I studied them in college. If you find comparisons, don't be surprised.

Fractured Racial Transformation

Hello!

I am interested in getting the fractured major racial transformation on my main character, but I can't consistently find it. I was playing my first game on the new "expansion" as Yaka and I found it. I went back on my main (Romanov the Marksman), and I can't find it. I remember it being in a tree wonder, but I don't remember which.

I have every minor racial transformation on Romanov, and think his musket is going to hit like a cannon once I am fractured. Can someone please help me out? Does it randomly occur in wonders? Is this going to be a painful grind? Is dad going to have to stop at the liquor store on the way home and make dinner early? These are all very important questions that need answering.

Thank you,

Romanov the Marksman

2020 Suzuki Katana Wheel Assembly

I took the wheels off my bike and brought them in to get new tires put on. I got the wheels back home last night and didn't take notes on how I took them off. I put all the parts in the same box assuming I would remember where everything went. It took three days for the tires to get installed, and now I don't remember a darn thing.

Here is what I am looking at: I have a total of three silver spacers. I marked which side the two for the rear wheel came from, so I have those. The third I assume goes to the front wheel. When putting the front wheel back on, there is about a quarter inch of space on both sides where the wheel kind of floats. I don't remember taking a spacer from the front wheel at all, but I assume it must go on.

Looking online, there is only (apparently) one spacer for the front, and it goes on the opposite side of the ABS/Speed sensor, meaning it goes on the left if you're sitting on the bike. Is that true? Should I have two spacers for the front? I can take pictures of what I have when I get home this evening.

I really believed this would be a quick job of just taking them off and throwing them back on. I am now on day four, and I don't have either wheel on because I don't understand my spacer situation. I feel totally defeated. My brother paid $160 for a dealership to take the wheels off for him, install the tires, then put the wheels back on. I paid $145 to do most of the labor myself, only having the tires installed on the wheels. Does anyone have wheel installation experience that could help me?

Starting my first new character in 15 years.

Good morning!

I have been in my own little world playing Skyrim on ps4 for about 15 years. I recently bought the deluxe version on Steam, and have been trying to figure out how to transfer my character to my computer. After consulting the public about it, it seems by best approach is to start anew.

In looking through some posts on this channel, I am blown away about how well the MOD community has made the graphics look. What I am seeking is a MOD list that you guys would recommend for someone starting on PC. I don't want to go overboard (mostly); I just want the graphics to look amazing.

That being said, I'll probably deviate slightly from that initial goal of just improving graphics. If anyone has any recommendations, I would be writing a list out before I start this evening. I will also be starting another post here, serving more or less like an obituary on the character I am leaving on PS4. Being level 101, he probably deserves to pass on anyway. Thank you for reading!

Still my baby

My katana turns 6 this summer. Almost 20k miles on her and still looks brand new when polished. Only visible defect is the left front blinker. If you squint, you can see it's taped. I mushed it in the doorway trying to get it in the house for the winter. I installed a wider front door that spring. It's not the end of the world; it's just like having a pimple for family pictures.

Suzuki, if you're reading this, I am willing to purchase a new front left blinker. I bought one from the OEM website, and they sent me a right anyway. I can't find a left anywhere. I would just run it upside down, but the connecter is different. I was about to start cutting and splicing, then realized I would rather have tape on it than cut the stock wiring.
