Software Update Request

Unless I'm missing an obvious setting to make this happen, the developers need to display the note (& its octave) somewhere sensible when you click on/write one in.

Yes I understand music theory and can make do without but it's a matter of time/convenience.

Having to visually reference the keyboard panel on the left or otherwise figure out what note you've entered yourself in 2026 is absolutely absurd.

I can't imagine the frustration for those out there without much music theory/piano knowledge having it only display the note C.

Transforming an old cellar into a vocal recording studio - advice needed! 🙏

Hey guys,

I'm building a vocal recording studio out of an old concrete cellar. It will predominately be used for tracking loud/heavily projected vocals (both singing & distorted/metal style).

I was hoping for some insight on how best to line the room acoustically and where roughly to position the mic for vocal tracking given the odd shape of the room.

I have a massive supply of carpet tiles, many of which still have acoustic foam glued on from my last tracking room (see pics). My plan initially was just to stagger these tiles like a chessboard on every wall (including the ceiling), covering about 50% of the room (besides the floor/stairs which I've already done).

I had also thought about fixing the tiles to sit roughly an inch off the walls/ceiling to help dissipate the sound a bit more (keeping it sound-proof as possible is also a concern with neighbors etc).

In terms of soundproofing, given the two vents, I've also mounted one wooden sound-trap/baffle-box to the inside wall next to the stairs (where air is pulled in through), and another outside the cellar over the opposite vent where air is pulled out via an external fan.

Hopefully my photos/diagram make sense, any advice would be greatly appreciated. The entire room is underground besides where the roof is raised with the two exposed vents.

NOTE:

The external baffle w/ fan has been installed on the other vent, but as of posting I don't have a photo handy (can add another time if need).

I also understand I might need some bass/corner traps, as well potentially covering some walls differently than others depending where the mic is placed. I'm not very knowledgeable with this sort of stuff though, hence would really appreciate some advice!

Found 3x Pairs of Vintage Cuban-Heel RM Williams Boots (Late 70s / Early 80s)

How's this for a score? As per the title, found 3x pairs of cuban-heel RM Williams in my old mans garage. According to him these were all from the late 70s otherwise very early 80s.

One pair is in excellent condition (first photo, S10), another more worn (second photo, S10.5) and the last pair quite worn (third photo, S10).

I'd like to sell & am looking for honest evaluations on price / potentially interested buyers. Can provide more photos/info/detail as needed.

I'd also note in regards to size, I'm a mens US Size 12 and these all fit me quite comfortably.

Would really appreciate advice on realistic pricings, as I'll likely list them on ebay if no enthusiasts are interested on the forum.

Sidenote: I also grew up living a couple streets away from the current workshop 👌
