I'm going into 11th grade and I've decided to take Humanities because I'm genuinely interested in subjects like History and related fields. But my tuition teacher is strongly against it and has called me to his office tomorrow to convince me to change my stream.

I already know the main arguments he'll make:

- "Humanities has no scope."

- "If you fail in your field, you won't be able to switch to maths-related careers."

- "Science/Commerce have more opportunities."

The thing is, I've thought about this a lot and I don't want to change my decision just because of pressure. I'm honestly super stressed because I feel like tomorrow is going to turn into a huge debate.

People who took Humanities (or teachers/counsellors here), how should I handle this conversation? What points should I make? Did any of you face something similar?
