Update::: power is back on in my home. Total down time was under 40 minutes, hoping it stays on. Stay safe and cool, all.

All powered went out in the immediate area by by house (Terr Nova) and I also called a few friends in RDR and they too have no power. Obviously it is the heat. In my 30+ years being here, I have never experienced heat like this and don't think I've had an unplanned power loss like this either..

Yes, bla bla bla climate change whatever. This is JUST a courtesy notice to you all, your area could be next so take the proper precautions...

Quinoa was cooked in water with onion, bay leaf, and a small garlic clove for flavor. Chicken breast in a cast iron pan, marinated/seasoned with some paprika, onion/garlic powder, dried thyme, and a little splash of apple cider vin and olive oil. Salad consists of cannellini beans, corn, baby tomatoes, chopped spinach, lemon juice, little splash of rice vin, and olive oil. And duh, sea salt/pepper on everything.

Yet another bird feeder location inquiry post 😆

It is my understanding that birds like to perch and be near branches or trees for safety and easy escape? I worry about pests and ants from the tree getting on to the bird feeder in its current location. Would I have more or less success if I hung it on the white trellis from the patio cover?

Feed is sunflower chips with some safflower chips as well.

I just watched these two intelligent comrades struggle for close to 10 minutes trying to fill this kiddy pool with ocean water and carry it back to where they are set up on the beach.... Yes. likely for a kid or toddler but EL OH EL, I knew exactly the epic fail that was on the way when I saw them walk up to the water with it.

Must weigh close to a couple hundred pounds or more when full, according to Gemini 🤣

I don't like snakes but this one was pretty to look at and small so my ignorant ass assumes it's not dangerous..

What is it? Reverse image search says something different every time😆
