This week, Sony announced that they will be ending disc production for PlayStation games on January 2028. It’s been spreading everywhere on social media, and tbh I am angry about it too, because I was about to get into physical media. How do you guys feel about this? I was wondering how Japan thinks about this, because I am aware that physical media is very popular there (Movies to CDs, Vinyls, etc) but consoles not so much (Other than Nintendo)

It’s been years and I am still pissed over how many Godzilla movies outside the Monsterverse aren’t available in many countries outside of Japan and the US. For example I am Korean and 99.5% of the Toho Godzilla movies aren’t available because the distributors either went bankrupt or fucked it all up because they were busy distributing anime. I am planning on going to a college in the US just to have a moment to watch the Japanese Godzilla movies for once. Will they ever become available in some countries outside of US and Japan? Or perhaps they might be available after earth explodes and we go to another planet. I would honestly give everything that I have just to watch them. And please don’t suggest piracy

I was researching popular drinks in Japan Coca Cola has a huge market share there, while Pepsi is lower. I also understand that they have various exclusive flavors and a lot of vending machines (At least for Coca Cola). What is your favorite soft drink? Is it domestic ones (Such as Ramune) or international ones?

I’ve been playing Mario Odyssey and during my journey to 100%, I started remembering what happened at the beginning of the game where you capture a frog and you see its memories. This happens again when you capture Bowser where you see Bowser’s memories. So I started wondering if Mario goes through the memories of almost everything he captures (At least sentient ones). So do you think Mario goes through the memories of his captured things? I would imagine Mario seeing a Goomba’s flashbacks where its friends got stomped in previous games and a Hammer Bro’s flashbacks where you see its appearances from SMB3 and Mario Galaxy.

So I am a teen and I don’t think I will be able to buy a DVD or a Blu Ray player because my parents are reluctant to buy me one, and I am scared that DVDs and Blu Rays will become super rare items by the time when I become an adult. Should I be scared about this? Or should I just stick to streaming and digital purchases for my entire life? Please help

So it’s that one rare time that Kung Fu panda gets added to Netflix. I decided to take the chance and watch it because I haven’t seen it for a very long time.

I loved it for so many reasons. First, they nailed it with the comedy. I don’t remember laughing so hard in a movie for a long time. It might be one of the funniest movies I’ve seen in a while.

Second, the quotes and the message. The quotes, especially from Master Oogway, are very relatable and honestly made me feel seen. “Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the present" was my favorite quote from him, because it relates me to a bit to focus on the present in life and to stop obsessing about the past. I also loved the quote from Mr Ping about the secret ingredient being nothing, you need to believe for what you are and there is no “secret” to power.

Lastly, the soundtrack was very beautiful, that’s all I have to say. It feels so celebratory or emotional and it matches the tone of the movie, which is both hilarious and emotional.

I will probably be watching 2 and 3 (I am definitely skipping 4). But one of the best DW films and one of the best animated films I have seen in a while. It shows how a movie can be very hilarious but very serious and mature at times, while many movies are like that I feel like Kung Fu Panda blended the two perfectly.

And also I watched the Mario Galaxy movie today, so I watched two Jack Black movies today, lol.

I am on my replay right now and I am getting closer to the mission in Saint Denis where you have to catch the kid. I am scared as shit. Does anyone know how to catch that fuckass? Please help
