Prices

**Edit, this is in no way an affiliate post, I don't have anywhere near enough clout to be associated with any pharmacies**

iQ Doctor have posted their Foundayo prices. Not sure how set in stone they are, cause only a £10 increase as you move up the does seems a bit too good to be true to me, but;

  • 0.8mg - £80
  • 2.5mg - £90
  • 5.5mg - £100
  • 9mg - £110
  • 14.5mg - £120
  • 17.2mg - £130

At the other end, Chemist4U prices seem to be more in line with what I was expecting;

  • 0.8mg - £109
  • 2.5mg - £119
  • 5.5mg - £139
  • 9mg - £169
  • 14.5mg - £189
  • 17.2mg - £199

Be interesting to see as more pharmacies list their prices how it will compare. Hopefully it turns out to be cheaper alternative for people

2024 vs 2026

When you’re in the midst of it, you don’t always see the difference as you’re losing weight. But when you do notice it, it really does snack you on the face. The difference between 2024 and 2026 caught me by surprise cause my brain still sees me more as I was in 2026. I’m 8 stone (112lbs/51kg) down and feel better than I have in years.

(Sorry I know the pics aren’t perfect but I don’t take many full body shots cause I always hated looking at my full body)

Weekly Check In

How is everyone doing this weekend? How's the weight loss coming along?

Today's suppression/satiety feels quite high, just had a smoothie which really filled me up 😂 (Aldi's Green Smoothie Mix, 10/10 would recommend)

Weigh In

Week 3 weigh in, and another 3lbs off. So that’s 8.5lbs off since I switched to the pills and started intermittent fasting

How’s everyone else getting on with the pills

Dreams

Ok, weird question, but has anyone found themselves having really vivid dreams since staring the pills? I’ve noticed my dreams seem to be quite weird and vivid since starting the pills. Which is weird cause I’m not new to Wegovy 😂

Saw this on TikTok and thought it was appropriate for newbies.

Saw this on TikTok and thought it might help some of the newer people to Wegovy. I think seeing other people’s journeys sometimes makes it feel like yours is going slow compared to theirs. I think we all need to learn to be kinder to ourselves when it comes to these meds (Rome wasn’t built in a day after all)

Week One update

Ok, so coming to the end of the first week of switching to the pills. It genuinely feels like the pills have kickstarted it again for me. The suppression is higher and longer lasting (so far) was pleasantly surprised as the recommended switching dose from 2.4mg of the jabs is 25mg of the pills. Haven’t had any negative side effects, but if mild constipation but nothing plenty of water and a gut supplement hasn’t sorted. One thing I’ve noticed is that the pills have a distinctive acrid taste to them if you don’t swallow them quick enough (not as rank as the taste of paracetamol though). I take the pill at 6:30 and then go back to sleep until my alarm goes off at 8:00 which seems to be really working for me

Flair

Hey, I created some User Flairs for each of the doses, if anyone wants to use them. I've found them handy on other subreddits as it allows you to see who's on what dose. Especially for newcomers to the pills 😊

Accidental Day 1

Ok, so I woke up this morning and took my first pill, cause in my half sleepy state I thought it was Wednesday so have taken my first dose a day early (probably not the end of the world, but definitely not something I’d want to repeat)

Feels a little like it’s further dampened the food noise, and made me feel less hungry. I’ve started intermittent fasting too since the weekend and the first few days by 12:00 I was ready to eat my arm, but today felt different. I was hungry by 12:00 for sure, but it wasn’t an “omg I need to eat something before I die” and more of an “oh I should probably eat”

So far I’d call it a success but we’ll see how the rest of the week, and my first month goes.

Tracking Apps

Anyone found any decent apps more geared towards the pills? Most apps I can find are more for tracking weekly jabs, which obviously doesn’t work for daily. I’ve set a reminder on my phone, but wanted something I could use to track weight also (though I could continue to use current tracker just not update the “shots” section)

Pills dispatched

After what feels like a mega wait, my order has been dispatched! Will be starting them next week as tonight is my last jab

Going back down a dose

Not sure if I’m after advice, or just feel like ranting. I’ve been on 7.2mg for a few months now but it seems like a lot more foods are triggering stomach ache, loose stools and really bad sulphur burps. I tried 4.8mg which seemed better(ish), so I thought I’d built up a better tolerance so went back up to 7.2mg. I seem to be in a cycle of a week of nothing triggering it, then something will trigger it and then I’ll spend the next 3 days really nauseous. I’m thinking I might be better off going back down to 2.4mg. I think I’ll speak to my provider and see what they say

SimpleOnlinePharmacy Wegovy Pill Prices

Saw the prices for the Wegovy pills from SimpleOnlinePharmacy (never used them so dunno how good their service is)

Their prices are lower than I’ve seen on some of the other pharmacy (Juniper and Numan), so there is some savings to be made in switching but I think the prices will probably come down a bit once they start competing with each other a bit more lol

1.5mg - £129
4mg - £136
9mg - £143
25mg £170

They’re also offering £30 off first orders with a discount code (won’t share on here as it’s displayed on their website)

simpleonlinepharmacy pricing

Simple Online Pharmacy have released their Wegovy Pill prices (they also are offering £30 off your first order)

1.5mg - £129
4mg - £136
9mg - £143
25mg - £170

Not as horrific as I was expecting tbh. Will have to see how these compare to others (though we know pharmacies like Juniper will be at least £50 more on each dose)

Switching from pen to pills

Has anyone on her switched from the pens to the pills? If so what has your experience been? The pills will soon be available in the UK and I've been considering them as the pens have recently started to leave me with bruises and skin irritation (plus I go on holiday/vacation soon and worry about bringing the pen with me)

Also if you switched did you start from the lowest dose, and what dose did toy switch from. I'm currently on 7.2mg

Did anyone start to feel really sick after being on 7.2 for a few weeks? I’ve been on 7.2 for 5 weeks now and the last two have brought some “delightful” stomach issues. Mainly being sick. I was really ill for about 5 days last week which I put down to a stomach bug, but I woke up this morning with really bad stomach issues (3 days after taking the jabs). It could be completely unrelated and could be what I had to eat last night, which was sausages, but wanted to ask on here before I jump to any conclusions about it being the jabs
