I work in a call centre booking tyre repairs across the UK and sometimes Europe.
"I'm near the Sainsbury in West London."
"I'm not from London."
"Well, I'm near the Sainsbury in West London."
Others have been,
"I'm on the A1."
"Where?
"The A1."
"It's a road that goes from Edinburgh to London. Which part of the road are you on?"
"The A1."
"I'm near a loch in Scotland."
A loch is a lake, for those that don't know. And Scotland has over 30K for them."
It happens far too often that people can't answer a simple question.
