Holy shit you guys weren't joking, this game really is addictively fun

I swear i just bought this yesterday, and i am completely very not normal about this game. The fun building, the BS with the Raider's, the constant reroll to get a decently stat pawn, me yelling at my pawns on screen for dying from eating the same food that gave them food poisoning, and the fact i can remake my colony whenever i want.

So far, I've tried playing with mods, and i got it today. im enjoying it so far.

You have the power of Suggestion to anyone in the world using nothing more than a picture and a mannequin head

Essentially, you can whisper ideas into peoples minds regarding how far they are, whether you know their real name or even location. All you need is a picture of them, old or recent, and any mannequin head.

Simply tape the picture to the head and whisper in its ear and it will instantly be heard by them, and the voice they hear wont be yours, but theirs, and be translated to their native language so if you speak english and the target is french, it would automatically translate to french.

And as you can whisper to their ear, any thoughts (internal or vocalized) will be repeated by the mannequin head as well, so you can know what they're thinking or saying, and is also translated but in their own voice.

Is rimworld good?

Hello , first time poster. Recently a buddy of mine recommended rimworlds to me and I just saw on steam that it’s on sale, I was wondering if it’s good? I’ve been looking for a game where I can just play whenever I have free time and something I can play for months without being bored or be able to finish it in less than a week. So far I’ve seen good reviews of the game but I’m still unsure (prone to buyers remorse)

Any feedback would be helpful

Saw the game on sale and buddy been recommending it, is it good?

Recently ive been looking for a casual game that i could just open up whenever i have any free time and play (studying, which takes up most of my time) and i wanted to try some colony sims, a friend of mine recommended rimworlds because its good, and another said stardew. I have only enough to get one of either, and im wondering if rimworlds is good?

This is not a dig against the game or anything, i just want to see if it's good and where best to ask than its community, and i really dont want to get buyers' remorse.

Any feedback would be helpful. Thanks!

Kittens thrown into a creek

My disappointment with humanity has one again hit a new low because this morning, some heartless monster had thrown two kittens into a roadside creek. And to make it worse, they were inside a tightly tied ecobag, so water got in.

If it wasn't for my dog barking at them in my morning walk, i would have never noticed them, but unfortunately, of the two, only one survived.

This happened in a barangay road here in iligan, and i know it was before 9 am. because when i found them, they were faintly squirming inside the bad.

Genuinely made my day shitty. So far, the little dude is doing well. I'll try to get them to a vet when i have the opportunity.
