What is the “progress bar” in the picture
See title, it sometimes turns green and orange and progresses or degreases, but I have no idea what it means?

Hi all,
I’ve got FLAC files sitting on my NAS and use a Navidrome client on my phone to stream them. When I connect to my car via CarPlay and play music through Navidrome, does the audio stay lossless, or does CarPlay compress it somewhere along the way?
I’m trying to figure this out as my car (Xpeng) only has a Spotify web wrapper which compresses all the music into a muddy mess. So in looking into alternatives that it will be either streaming through CarPlay/navidrome or actually connecting a physical USB which contains the music.
Many thanks!
Posted a few days ago about disappointing sound from the Xpeng. After a few days of testing different formats, here’s what I found.
Streaming via web wrappers stays stuck on muddy 2.0 stereo, and CarPlay doesn’t help either. Native Atmos M4A files aren’t recognized via USB at all — same for AAC, AC-3, E-AC-3, MKV, Opus and DTS. What does work is FLAC (2.0, 5.1 and 7.1), WAV multichannel and plain MP3.
So the trick is to render your multichannel sources down to 5.1 FLAC (or 7.1), drop them on a USB stick, and play through the native USB input.
Hi,
I've just subscribed to TuneIn Premium but I'm still getting pre-roll banner/audio ads before stations start playing. According to TuneIn's own support page, Premium should remove all pre-roll audio ads and banners.
I'm logged in with my Premium account on the app itself. Im getting them within the app on the phone as well as the app on my car (Xpeng).
I’m fairly new to tunein so I have no idea how it actually works, but should the pre-roll commercial/banners not be played while subscribed to premium? I thought this was the exact purpose of Tunein Premijm?
Many thanks for your help!
Hi all,
Just driving my G6 for a week and generally very happy. The only thing is that I found d the sound underwhelming. It seems that only the front boxes near the front window are very “active”. After more inspection it seems that while playing Spotify (or another source) the upper boxes above the wind shield I don’t detect (or not noticeable at least( any sound. The boxes as in the picture.
Is this normal? Or is this just my car. I’m asking here because I have the car for a week and of course don’t know what is “normal” or not.
Many thanks in advance!
