Remember This Duo? (Tim and Moby)

I remember vividly my teacher pulling out the projector and showing us these educational cartoons. BrainPop.com LLC was founded in 1999!

Finally beat GEX

So I discovered the OG Gex as a kid. My dad gave me the PS1 version when I was probably....8 or 9? I've since played it on the PS1, PSP and finally in the new trilogy remaster, it really fits in well with my love of Y2K nostalgia. I beat the game for the first time, I'm 33 now. I guess it was about time. Gex will always be my favorite platforming hero.

And yes, I will try to complete the Planet X levels at some point.

What 2000s Music Means To Me

I'm 33 years old, but I wasn't really into the music of my high school years. I was a shy, nerdy kid who found rock and angst scary. Now? Being that the world around me is...dark and I feel anxious and depressed, the lyrics of The Fray, Green Day, Evanescence really hit me different. I realize now that 2020 music is...a bit bland. At least the mainstream stuff. Indie rock bands are really good. But yeah, I find Taylor Swift bland. I think everything is really corporate.

Where as in the 2000s, we had dark clothes, style, grunge, lyrics that were EMOTIONAL and loud. And I need that. We were allowed to be a little 'cringe' and not get bullied for it.

Agent 64

So I just beat the first level. It's so, so good. It'll take me some time to master, as it does have that retro feel, but that's not a bad thing! And for me what puts it over the edge is the ability to do multiplayer bots. In case I just wanna blow away bad guys without effecting the single player mode. A feature that I wish was in more games. I love this.

I never experienced Goldeneye for the N64, I never owned an N64. So this game for me is a way to play it in a new modern context.

In this video I break down why I love Y2K culture and want it back. I've seen many videos on this topic and thought I should give it my own spin.

Coldplay: Clocks (Brian and A Fursuiter Cover)

I took my cousin's video and decided why not edit together a duet? He's a good pianist.

Rarely do I get to show my years of vocal lessons!
