I need help

So basically there was this exam my parents kinda wanted me to write which I was not interested to get into a specific college anyway their results came and I am pretty sure it's bad as I haven't taken it seriously and I am not interested in it .right now I have another exam super important to me but my parents are mad because I said no for checking the result because I may go into a cycle of regret thinking about it while studying I told them that I will check after this coming super important exam

But for them that was a no I politely told them that they can check themselves if they want to know that badly then my mom started shouting and hasn't looked at my face or talked for a day and stuff now I am kinda stress about that I feel guilty what should I do am I in the wrong here

Indoor plant suggestions

I live in a very dry area it has very low humidity and I feel like I am suffocating in my house.

Can anyone suggest some indoor plants that can handle heat and also bring some good kind of coolness or just make my room not suffocating
