I’m running an Nvidia Shield Pro with an LG C4. I’ve noticed a consistent bug regarding color space switching:

When the Shield’s global display mode is set to Rec.2020, even with "Match content color space" enabled, the Shield fails to correctly map SDR content back to Rec.709. It results in noticeable oversaturation in SDR content.

However, if I set the global mode to Rec.709 (while keeping HDR10/DV support enabled) and enable "Match content color space", the device correctly switches to Rec.2020 for HDR/DV content and stays in Rec.709 for SDR, maintaining perfect color accuracy.

Has anyone else noticed this behavior? Is this a known bug in the current firmware, or is there a way to fix the Rec.2020 mapping issue?

I'm currently using Kodi on my Nvidia Shield Pro strictly as a media player for local content via a USB drive. I have it hooked up to an LG OLED display, and I mostly play high-quality 4K Remux files.

I want to ensure I'm getting the absolute best picture and audio quality. I’ve already tinkered with the basics like adjusting the display refresh rate (On start/stop) and enabling Audio Passthrough.

Are there any other crucial settings in Kodi (or the Shield itself) that I should change? Any specific Advanced Settings, Buffer tweaks, or specific video playback settings you highly recommend for smooth local playback?

I’m currently using an Nvidia Shield TV Pro to play local 4K Blu-ray Remux files directly from an external USB drive.

I want to make sure I’m getting the absolute best picture and lossless audio quality possible, especially since I'm running this on a calibrated OLED display (for SDR, HDR, and Dolby Vision) with high-bandwidth HDMI 2.1 cables.

What is the recommended player right now that flawlessly handles Profile 7 Dolby Vision and lossless audio passthrough (TrueHD Atmos / DTS-HD) from a USB drive without stuttering? Is Kodi (v21 Omega) the best route, or should I be looking at Just Player or something else?
