Dorms near Ust

Hello! I’ve been looking po for bedspacers near UST, would you reco kresidences po or metro district suites (magkatapat lang sila)
Pero is it true ba na you really can’t cook sa kresidences kahit rice cooker lang? Na view ko kasi metro district and wala silang sink area aside from the cr pero pwede magluto…

Do you guys have other recos po? Thank uu!

Need opinionss

Hai! Incoming first year ab comm, th I'm okay with this course, I don't really have a "dream" prog but this caught my eye. I initially wanted to pursue programs related to med or law but the certainty that I'll be able to continue to law school or med school is def invisible right now... but every time I get asked about my prog they all get somewhat disappointed by my answer. I mean I could say that I'm "smart" naman, i passed the big 4 pero when i get asked about my prog they have that knowing look. Kahit mom ko di masyado gusto prog ko.
For all the communication grads out there, how are you now? Okay lang ba job opportunities? (I'll be going to the yellow school po) salary wise would you say it's worth it naman or is pursuing something like medtech, polscie much better.
Iniisip ko kasi na if pre med or pre law prog, mas mahirap since parang pili lang pwede magawa after, lalo na minimum wage here sa Phil and I'm thinking about my mom na nag take ng meds (oral chemo) and my dads not in the picture na.

Hi for context I passed ustet and upcat (dpwas) nag reserve na po ako ng slot in ust kasi I don’t have any fall back na kung sakali. It’s not that Hindi naman namin Kaya magbayad ng tuition pero solo parent na po yung mother ko and is still taking medication for cancer (oral chemo as maintenance) I don’t want to be a burden naman na dagdagan pa yung gastos niya with tuition fee. My program is ab communication. Yun din sana plan ko for UPB pero di ako nakuha hence dpwas. Yun din sana kukunin ko if ever na may slot pa as dpwas. Balak ko po na if ever makakuha ng slot sa UPB for comm is to transfer sa diliman sa second year with a different prog probably public administration. I’ll be closer to my mom din if diliman. Magastos din kasi sa Baguio the food and rent pang tourist na talaga kaso lang 5 years ako in college kung sakali. I’m thinking whether susukuan ko Ang UP and just push for scholarships na lang sa UST kasi if ever overlap talaga sila. June enrollment sa ust, start na din application for scholarships tapos yung results ng UP Baka July pa which would probably be the month din na release ng scholarships (afaik Baka mains pa dpwas results bago scholarship results)

5 years in UP vs 4 years in UST

Naguguluhan na din ako na if ever I take up pub ad will I land a job agad considering I would need it since me and my mom nalang.
The expenses in ust as an ab communication student mataas ba huhu
Will I be able to work let’s say sa bpo if sa ust ako?
Are there any possible scholarships for me 97gwa with this financial constraint

For context MAs convenient kasi for me kung sa upd sana knowing na MAs madami akong kakilala and MAs convenient siya overall. Plan ko sana to take up ab comm in baguio and transfer x shift to upd pol sci or public administration huhu. Mataas po ba masyado pangarap ko rn or doable naman po 🥹🥹

For context I’ve been dreaming about going to UST since High school. Nakapasa ako sa UST AB Comm and DPWAS for UPB. wanted sana na Diliman and makuha ko considering na mas convenient siya for me. Nag reserve na ako ng slot for UST pero I don’t know what to feel. Masaya ako that there’s a chance na makakapag UST ako but I don’t want to be a burden pagdating sa expenses. My mom is on medication(pwd) and solo parent na din. It’s not that sagad na sagad na Kami pero ayoko dumating sa point na yon. My only fighting chance for UST is to become a scholar kaso limited lang due to my prog. Iniisip ko rin na what if nakakuha ako ng slot for UPB ng comm. Tho alam ko sa sarili ko na if don man I’d probably see myself transferring to UPD and taking a different prog instead. Pero the idea na pwedeng ma stuck ako sa Baguio is hunting me. (OA I know) pero for the people that transferred is it doable huhu. Like if first year upb student ba ako mahihirapan ako with my units and slim chance lang na makapuntang diliman?

I’m also worried about sa living expenses sa labas ng Ust particularly daily expenses sa food and others
