300 rounds, only 2 failures toward the end all using the same mag. I can probably fix that because the CMC mag follower is a bit loose. Wilsons incoming.
Think it'll blow up if I suppress it?
Ever see a Defender/Ultra size gun with a threaded barrel? Me neither. Just fitted this Fusion Match barrel. There is a bit of reprofiling of the bottom lugs needed, and the hood needed to be filed a bit.
Saw this at my LGS for a 3 digit number. Had to have it
Have a Kimber Super Carry Ultra HD in this exact spec and I have a threaded 3" bull barrel en route. Wish me luck. Re: sights: will any of the Kimber suppressor height sights work?
Came across this at a garage sale. I figure why the hell not to look at the deer in the backyard. Night Owl NOCP5
After getting my hands on their slide and matching ported barrel, my first impressions are extremely positive. Scott is an awesome member of this CZ community and a really great person to do business with.
Right out of the box, the machining quality stands out. Every edge is clean, the slide cuts are crisp, and the finish is excellent. The tolerances appear very tight and figment was great. Heads up though, aftermarket steel guide rods will have trouble going in. I’d recommend using the stock polymer guide rod. The tolerances are tight.
The optic cut sits low in the slide and The serrations strike a nice balance between aggressive enough to provide plenty of grip and comfortable enough that they don’t feel overly sharp during manipulation.
The matching ported barrel is sweet. The machining around the ports is clean and symmetrical, and the barrel locks into the slide with very little play. Visually, the ports line up perfectly with the slide windows, giving the entire package an intentional, integrated look rather than feeling like a collection of aftermarket parts.
Initial Verdict: Based strictly on fit, finish, machining, and overall presentation, the Impact Machine slide and ported barrel makes an outstanding first impression. I’ll reserve final judgment until I get it to the range, but as a tabletop review, it’s hard to find much to criticize.

Mail call today. Saw this awesome design and had to get one. Came just in time for July 4. Happy Independence Day all!
And I love it. My first S&W revolver. She has scratches and gouges but it functions flawlessly.
