Advice for a young adult
im looking for some advice, please don't judge. As of today im 7k in debt, I have about 20 bucks in my checking lol, about a 670 credit score and recently started a hysa. im currently in my last year of university and work a student job that pays enough to pay the monthly balance but not nearly enough to pay it off. I've been trying to apply for other cards to do balance transfer to help with the interest but I've been unsuccessful/denied on all the ones I've applied for. I'm trying to find a 2nd job for the sole reason of paying this debt off but nobody is actually responding- that's a different problem though. when I first got approved for this cc I had a goal of using it minimally on small purchases and pay it all off at the end of the month to help build my credit- but times have changed and im not exactly sure where I went wrong and everything just started to spiral. Fortunately I do live with my parents and they help with housing and food necessities, so I don't want to burden them anymore by asking them to help with this.
Going through this sub, I've realized that my currently situation is not nearly as bad as others, but I still want to figure this out so I can be financially free. anyways any advise for a 20 year struggling with debt? anything helps and is much appreciated.

ELI5: How exactly do phone carrier companies and their “free” phone promotions work?
I’m trying to open up a new phone line with a company and I keep seeing “free” phone promotions. Basically you sign up with them and they give you the latest phone or something, but it’s deeper than that I’m thinking. I’m definitely paying back for the phone somehow through my bills right? Someone explain
aid
Has anyone gotten their financial aid awards sent out yet? I usually would've gotten an email about it by this time the past two years. I saw the email from the U about how it's been difficult for grants and other things such as international students. I'm wondering if this may have something to do with the delay.
traveling with minors
So me and my two younger siblings are planning to travel to Toronto from the US, and I'm just wondering about the requirements when it comes to minors traveling without the parents. Obviously we have our parents permission, and I'm over the age of 18, and they're both 16 and younger. Is there any official forms or documents I should have our parents sign and fill out in case we are asked about it?
edit: I've found this link on the Canada government website, but I can't find an actual consent form. I'm wondering if I should just type something up and have both of our parents sign it

Rainbow suitman
for the past few weeks Ive been noticing this older gentleman on the corner of oak st and washington ave, dressed in particularly colored suits. everyday I see he's got on a different colored blazer with matching bottoms and dress shoes, and also carries around a briefcase. im new around here, but a few of my friends have said that they've been seeing him around since their freshman year. What's the lore behind this guy? I've decided to call him the rainbow suitman, idk if he goes by something else lol
should I stop before anything bad happens
context: alright so noobie here, I turned 21 this past year and just recently got into weed. I've only smoked vapes/carts and done edibles, and have only smoked flower couple times. I was using a disposable for a few months, and one night I did a little too much and ate like 30 grams of edibles, drank a thc drink and smoked the vape... im telling you I greened tf out and had a full on panic attack. I was out too and alone, so I had to drive back and that made it even worse. after that day I decided to take a break and focus more on other stuff. it's been at least 5+months now, and I decided to get a cart again the other day. I literally took one puff and started feeling my heart beating faster and faster. I did get a little high but it wasn't a nice high feeling.
Ive heard that some people get this after smoking for like a long time and end up quitting, but is this common for people new to weed to also get it or is this just a me thing and some sort of like built up subconscious trauma lol
