Doing donuts in a mini V2-powered Morgan 3-Wheeler. Driving this requires some serious RC helicopter brain. 🍩

The Morgan 3 Wheeler with the Cison V2 Shovelhead engine installed has been an amazing engine—easy to start, incredibly reliable, sounds fantastic, and delivers plenty of power.

The Morgan 3 Wheeler is everything I've ever wanted in a model but could never find until I built it.

This thing drives just like the real Morgan—fast, nimble, with very responsive steering, and no problem doing donuts. And let's not forget the incredible sound of the engine.

The transmission is very complex. It uses two separate channels: one for gear selection and one for clutch engagement. You select the gear you want, then engage the drive and control the throttle and steering. 🤙 I really have to use my RC helicopter brain to drive this model lol.

These Two Are a Perfect Match 🤙

I decided to put the tools down and just play, and I'm so glad I did because it was such a great stress reliever.

The Cison V2 shovelhead engine just blows my mind.

I've been running the V2 hard, making it work powering the Morgan 3-wheeler. It's been 10 months and many, many running hours since I last did any maintenance on this V2 engine.

Colman fuel is $35 a gallon, so I've only ever run gasoline mix with a small amount of Marvel Mystery Oil to keep the carbon from building up.

So, I finally decided that it's time to disassemble and inspect.

The compression is strong

The main bearings are nice and smooth

And the valves are not leaking

Internationals are clean, with no carbon buildup

So I reassembled the engine, changed over to scale bolts, and she started right up again, ready for another 10 months lol

I love this engine

Those little details can make an engine pop!

On the Toyan L400bgc I replaced 44 capscrews with stainless steel bolts and i don't think I can go back...gonna have to do this to all my engines now. Lol
