Ran my local pass after throwing on a new wheel and tire setup
Got a used set of DWS06’s and also went 245/40/17 on all 4 corners with 8.5 inch wide rims. This car has never handled better!

Just recently one of my power steering lines blew and the shaft inside my power steering pump snapped and now the pulley just spins freely without pumping fluid. I figured out what caused the fluid starvation. Though I don’t really feel like buying the stuff to fix it and the car didn’t feel half bad without the power steering. My idea is to remove the internals of the pump so the pulley on the power steering pump can spin freely without risk of seizing. Where I don‘t exactly know what to do is the rack. Do I need to fill the rack and plug the holes where the lines go? Should I put a line that feeds the rack back into itself? Do I still need to feed it through the PS cooler? Would it even build enough pressure to push the fluid through the cooler? would my steering rack just overheat and kill itself without a pump? The model is a 2004 C230K 6MT 1.8L SC
Just got a camera mount for my Benz. Last time I posted my driving looked like shit because of my poor recording equipment.
For anyone who remembers me I finally sold the Lincoln. I had been wanting something that was lighter, RWD, manual and got decent mpg so I have a w203 C230 now. I was running slow in this clip but I’ll be sure to post a better run soon. Also the audio at the end is cut out because my friend was asking me a question.
Curb weight 3,250LBS (probably lower I had a quarter tank here)
staggered Sailun Atrezzo SVA1 all around
225/45/17 front
245/40/17 rear
yes they have good tread, no dry rot and the DOT isn’t too old.
I do plan on going square with proper performance tires but these are fine for now.
Yes I realize that Touge literally means mountain pass but not everyone has a mountain pass to drive on. I think that a lot of back roads around the world serve the same purpose as a touge and offer the same challenge as a touge.
