Hey so I recently purchased a home and I’ve got a 912sqft crawl space that’s a damp with some mildew and I was thinking of buying a alorair Helios dehumidifier. I just can’t decide what size will be enough the 55 ppd unit or the 35 ppd unit. Any response would be appreciated
I just purchased a home and the crawl space is a bit humid how would I go about installing a vapor barrier ? The crawl space has a concrete floor so I’m just worried that if I have a vapor barrier where will the water vapor go ?
I’m buying a new home and on the inspection I noticed the crawl space is a bit humid. The crawl space has a concrete floor and I was wondering if laying a vapor barrier would be a good or bad idea for it. The crawl space has no standing water with any active leaks. If I lay the vapor barrier would that just create mold on the underside or would the water vapor just not rise through the concrete ?
