There is a senior coworker on my team(slightly more experienced than me), who acts like he is the manager. He keeps on getting involved in work that has nthg to do with him and tracks other people's tasks. He likes to know what is going on everywhere, like some nosy relative.

He keeps on making uncomfortable and mildly racist jokes even after I have clearly told him multiple times that I am not comfortable with it. He will stop for a few days and then continue with the same.

He can be helpful sometimes, which is what makes this situation little confusing. Has anyone dealt with seniors like this?
