I got donning/doffing gloves, partial bed bath, repositioning and lifting in bed, then positioning to supine. The person next to me got vitals and ambulating, it appeared. They were done a good 15 mins before me. Why couldn’t I have gotten vitals. That stuff is cake.
Instead I absolutely butchered my skills because I RAN OUT OF TIME. I only got to finish the head and right side of body when I ran out of time. I’m so mad and angry. 😭😭😭😣😣😣 I feel like a failure and I don’t even wanna come back and take it again.

Would love you guys to comment lingo that a baby CNA might not know right away! I really don’t want to look like a doofus lol. I want to be confident and knowing the language a seasoned CNA uses would help me a lot. Thank you!!! Phrases, words, medical terms, etc. they all help.

Does anyone know a way to lock all doors from the inside when you’re in the passenger seat? Obviously I can reach over to the drivers door but there’s gotta be an easier way right? Thanks!

A few days ago my check engine light, (P)! warning, and flashing red “PARK” warning all came on while driving. The red “PARK” warning still flashes intermittently while driving, including while accelerating. Weirdly, sometimes when I fully press the brake pedal the flashing stops, but other times it continues flashing even with the brake engaged. So there seems to be some inconsistency there.

O’Reilly scanned it and got codes:

- P145C

- P0497

Mechanic suspected the vapor canister purge valve was intermittently stuck closed, so I just had the purge valve replaced today.

Problem is… within literally 4 minutes of driving it home, the same warnings came back again.

Symptoms/details:

- No gas smell

- Gas cap is fully tightened

- No stalling

- No rough idle

- No transmission slipping feeling

- Car drives completely normal otherwise

- Brakes feel normal

- Parking brake still engages/disengages properly

- No overheating

- Car has also randomly started making the internal lock/unlock clicking sound by itself while driving, even when I’m not touching the locks. Last week it did it repeatedly for about 35 seconds straight. Did it again, twice today for about 10 seconds each. Started maybe 3 weeks ago?

Also noticed one battery terminal has noticeable corrosion, although O’Reilly said battery/alternator voltage tested fine.

Does this sound more like:

- lingering EVAP issue?

- battery/ground/electrical issue?

- brake switch/parking brake module?

- Honda electrical gremlin? 😭

Would appreciate any ideas before I start throwing random parts at it.
