Seniors, especially those in second year, can you please tell me about this course in first year.

The pass percentage of the theory exam is 40%.
Does it mean I have to get 40% in both paper 1 and paper 2 separately, or combined?

For example, can I score 30 in paper 1 and 50 in paper 2?
Or should I score only 40 in paper 1 and 40 in paper 2 to pass?
