What is missing from this photo…?

Currently reading through the DT series for the second time after a decade (thanks to this sub). Am a quarter through W&G.

So, I am currently on a business trip in Toulouse, France and the first day I arrive I am out walking around.

First I hear a group of violists playing Hey Jude.

Then I walk a few more blocks and see this!!

COINCIDENCE………or something moar?

The age old question…

…so, I have been on a wait list for the past year at a reputable AD in the US for a Bruce Wayne on jubilee.

This would be my first Rolex at age 41. I currently own and rotate through a Speedy Sapphire (black), PO 39.5 (black), Peter Blake Seamaster (black) and Breitling Colt 41 (blue).

I was offered the two-tone Bruce Zombie when I first walked into my home AD a year ago but it just didn’t do it for me and I turned it down to go on The List, which I was told would be approximately two years.

I have no purchase history (previously bought online) but the AD has a great reputation for coming through (if you have patience). I’ve checked in with the SA twice over the past year and they responded back promptly that they have me accounted for.

However, I am starting to get antsy and am looking to build some purchase history with either a new Explorer 1 (in 36 or 40), a CPO Explorer 2 16570 or a Bluesy (new, preferably). Or maybe two of these options. My wrist is around 6.75 in. and the photos are posted in that order.

I haven’t spoken to my home AD about this just yet as I’ve been traveling and popping into nearby ADs in France (with my Speedy).

I’ll be in Dublin and NYC in the coming days (and might stop into a few ADs for the heck of it) and then when I finally get home plan to visit my AD to get something in the works.

Any thoughts or recommendations for me in general (besides going grey)? Thank you Rolex community…that all felt good to get off my chest.

TLDR: Which of the following watches should I buy as my first Rolex?

I’ve had this 39.5 Gen 3 PO for a decade. $3200 from Jomashop at the time with the stainless steel bracelet.

Has been a regular in my rotation since then. Still in love with it. Can wear it with a suit…can wear it on a hike.

Never serviced, sapphire glass and ceramic bezel have prevented any scratches from showing up.

I had tried all the previous generations of PO at the time and nothing fit me or appealed to me as much as this version. I think the new PO is a disaster.

Any 39.5 love out there?!
