Crabpelier, Vermont: Governor Carapace has announced the most recent stage in the campaign to free Denver. Speaking in the capital of the newly added autonomous region of Vermont, he confirmed the rumors that this morning a massive multistate crustacean army had launched an amphibious invasion of Cascadia.
General Clawswitz's press corps has released this image of a Crabmobile rising from the water. Manned with Green Mountain Lobsters and Light Blue Soldier Crabs under the general command of Colonel Champ, it rises from the water to spread misery upon all Cascadian troops that dare defy it. Cascadia is already reporting massive military casulties as their army falls prey to the flood of maple syrup and the burn of Old Bay, as well as the uncomfortable pinch of the dreaded Crabmobile.

I am doing an alternate history scenario where the US gets in a war with Canada during WW1. After the war, would it have been feasible for the US to take the west bank of the St. John's river (the yellow area), for a better defensive line, or would it have had enough pro-Canadian sentiment to make it a massive headache to occupy?
I'm looking for a world map that has subdivisions as of 1920s or so and has rivers and mountain ranges. It would have to be SVG. Where could I find one of these?
Croatia really is pretty. Found this on the daily challenge in Croatia.

See: https://www.reddit.com/r/HistoryMemes/comments/1t8p9ek/companion_to_otto_schmidts_nonoptional_voluntary/ for easier to read text boxes. This depicts a stereotypical German soldier's WW2 experience in typical German dry humor.
Basically what it says above. Any mods for starting in the US or Argentina - type locations, and placing your capital there instead of the European area? I'm thinking of getting this game and was wondering how customizable the start is.
This takes into account multiple factors. For example, I don't want to live in a swamp so goodbye Louisiana. Opposite for Nevada - I don't want to live in a desert.

In the US, how many marriages survived the war percentagewise (not counting deaths). I've heard of and in fact know people who were married right before, during, or right after the war, and their marriages lasted decades. Was that true for the vast majority of couples?
What happened if someone went MIA, was presumed dead after a year, his wife remarried, and then he came back from the war? How did the courts handle that?
